By the time fall rolls around, most of the year’s big movie releases are already behind us. But there’s plenty of good stuff coming up on the horizon in 2013, and a trio of projects we’re curious about have just started shooting.

Near Hollywood, the wolf pack (Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms) has reconvened for The Hangover Part III, with wives (Gillian Vigman, Jamie Chung, and Sacha Barrese) in tow. Across the country in Atlanta, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and franchise newcomer Sam Claflin are getting prepped for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the the Atlantic Ocean, over in the UK, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost are getting their heads back together for The World’s End. Hit the jump to see images from the set of all three films.

The very first photos from the Todd Phillips-directed The Hangover Part III show several familiar faces. But there’s something a little different about one of said faces — it appears Stu’s gotten rid of that Mike Tyson tattoo.

Plot details for Part III are being kept under wraps for now, but Warner Bros. has promised that the final installment of the franchise will be a break from the pre-wedding setup from the last two films:

This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

The Hangover Part III opens May 24.

Our first glimpse at the Catching Fire set reveals that Katniss and Peeta are back to matching suits, and that both Lawrence and Hutcherson can rock the black spandex. (Maybe they should consider going into the theater ninja business?) The pair are joined by Claflin, who was cast this summer as fan favorite Finnick Odair. The latter doesn’t appear to be in costume, though, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see whether Claflin looks the part of the handsome former victor.

Francis Lawrence directs this time around. The sequel hits November 22.

Finally, here’s a peek at frequent collaborators Wright, Pegg, and Frost reunited on the World’s End set. We don’t know the identities of the younger actors yet, but two of them are playing younger versions of Pegg and Frost. Pegg’s sprightlier double is the kid in the black trenchcoat, and that bespectacled fellow with the striped shirt is supposed to be Frost’s doppelganger.

The World’s End comes to the UK August 13. Here’s the synopsis:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Pegg), a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
