Rick and Morty Grand Theft Auto 5 mod

The video game Grand Theft Auto V has been out for about three and a half years now, but fans keep coming up with new ways to make the game more exciting, at least for those who play it on their computers. There have been mods adding The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man to the video game, and there was even an official update that introduced vehicles that were essentially TRON lightcycles into the mix. But a recent mod is one of the weirdest and coolest we’ve seen yet.

A modder known as Jedidiah515 took it upon himself to create a mod that allows the title characters from Adult Swim’s animated series Rick and Morty to enter the world of Grand Theft Auto V. In fact, the mod allows players to add tons of Ricks and Mortys into the game, as if all of the different versions from parallel dimensions were converging on this one world. However that mod also makes for some truly disturbing images, especially when strippers are replaced with Rick Sanchez.

Here are a couple videos showcasing Rick and Morty in Grand Theft Auto V (via Kotaku):

The first video has Rick creating chaos on the highway, blowing up cars and whatnot. Then it takes two Ricks to the sky in the drunk scientists signature spaceship before they land at a strip club and things get really weird.

Meanwhile, the second video takes Rick and Morty to the drive-thru of a McDonald’s as we hear the dialogue from the end of the surprise third season premiere where Rick explains his quest to get the Mulan Szechuan sauce from McDonald’s back in his possession (something that may actually be brought back because of its reference on the show.

But the real treasure of the second video is having a bunch of Mr. Meseeks create chaos on another highway with gunfire and violence as only Grand Theft Auto V can deliver. It’s not a farcry from what happens regularly on the show and it makes me wish that I played GTA V on my computer just so I can try this mod.
