VOTD: Pixar's Extensive Tributes To Classic Movies

The movies of Pixar Animation are known for having little easter eggs that reference the other movies from the animation studio. However, they're also chock full of references, homages and tributes to other classic movies. Some are more obvious, such as Rex seen in the sideview mirrors of the Barbie Corvette in Toy Story 2, just like the T. rex in the original Jurassic Park. But others you may have never noticed before. And if you're curious about the dozens of classic movie references in the Pixar movies, a video has assembled a ton of them for your perusal.

Here's Pixar's Tribute to Cinema from Jorge Luengo Ruiz:

Some of Pixar's classic movie references I've never noticed at all. For example, the carpet in Sid's house in the first Toy Story is exactly the same as the carpet in the halls of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. And while I think it's a bit of a stretch, the comparison of that one scene in The Incredibles with Frozone to another in Die Hard with a Vengeance is certainly an interesting one that I never would have thought of at all.

The editor of this video points out that he didn't use any clips from A Bug's Life because the entire movie is essentially a tribute to Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. That's definitely true, but I'm willing to bet that there are some shots and sequences inspired by other classic films in that movie as well. Are there any that you've noticed that aren't in the video?
