Yesterday it was announced that 26-year-old British actor Andrew Garfield (Boy A, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, The Social Network) has been cast as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in Marc Webb‘s 3D Spider-Man reboot (read and comment here). The selection of Garfield was revealed at a press event in Cancun, Mexico for international journalists attending a media tour promoting upcoming films from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
