As it’s July 4, there won’t be a ton of updates on /Film today. There will be a few here and there, and a major one is the first teaser poster for Oz the Great and the Powerful. Sam Raimi‘s 2013 Wizard of Oz prequel stars James Franco as a circus magician who winds up in the magical world of yellow brick roads and munchkins only to find himself in the middle of a battle for the world between three witches played by Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams.
We’ll know much more about the film after next week’s San Diego Comic-Con but for now, check out Disney’s first teaser poster for the film.

A pretty poster to be sure, but it’s still not an image from the film. That’s what I’m waiting to see. Otherwise, all that’s come online is this weird scan of Franco’s character. What do you think of the poster?
