Just in time for Star Wars Celebration this weekend, our friends at the Bottleneck Gallery in conjunction with ACME Archives is releasing 3 new Star Wars prints. A BB-8 focused print by Chris Skinner called “Finn’s Buddy” and Mark Englert‘s tribute to the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in two variants. First up is Chris Skinner’s “Finn’s Buddy” which is a 7 color 16 x 20 inch screen print featuring an image of BB-8 giving his version of a thumbs up. It will be released for $40 each in a limited edition size of 300.
Next up is Mark Englert’s beautiful tribute to the ending of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The print, which can be seen in the header of this post, is titled “Hope is not lost today. It is found.” The print comes in two different versions. The regular edition features Rey holding the lightsaber out to Luke Skywalker while Chewbacca and R2-D2 look up next to the Millennium Falcon parked on the cliffs below. This 7 color 12 x 36 inch screen print will be released in a timed edition for $50, which means that you will actually be able to buy one if you want beginning on Thursday. The sale ends on Sunday, July 17th at 11:59pm eastern, and the edition size will be limited to the amount of prints sold during the timed release. The variant of Mark Englert’s “Hope is not lost today. It is found. ” is also a 7 color 12 x 36 inch screen print, but features Luke Skywalker peering into the ocean from the cliff, and the Millennium Falcon flying toward Ach-To. This print will be sold for $65 and will be a numbered limited edition of only 250 prints.
