Joking about TV edits of R-rated movies is a tried and true Internet tradition. Lines like “Yippie-Ki-Yay Mr. Falcon” and the use of “melonfarmer” will forever live in our memory banks. However, while the results of TV edits are fairly prominent online, the process to get there is usually masked.
Director Todd Strauss-Schulson pulled back that curtain every so slightly on Instagram this week. He showed a list of notes given that needed to be changed on a TV version of his R-rated comedy A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas and it’s pretty damn funny. Check it out below.
