'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Answers A Big Unanswered Question From The Movie

There are still a number of mysteries left over from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. What has Luke Skywalker been doing this whole time in exile? How did Maz Kanata get his lightsaber? Who are Rey's parents? How much does the First Order spend on fixing stuff Kylo Ren has broken in fits of rage? But now we're about to get an answer to a different question that many had fans regarding Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

After Finn and Poe Dameron escape the First Order Star Destroyer, they get shot down and crash in the deserts of Jakku. However, when Finn wakes up in the TIE Fighter wreckage, Poe is nowhere to be found, leaving him to assume that the X-Wing pilot is dead. But then when Maz Kanata's castle is being attacked by the First Order, a black and orange X-Wing piloted by Poe Dameron swoops in to save the day. So how did he survive? The new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game has an answer.

The new level pack is called Poe's Quest for Survival, and it has players control Poe Dameron (actually voiced by Oscar Isaac) on Jakku, where he meets a scavenger named Naka Iit, who takes him to a merchant named Ohn Gos, who figures out how to get Poe back to the Resistance base on D'Qar. But since this is Star Wars we're talking about, they hit a little hiccup when they run into a group known as the Strus Clan trying to take over a village. So Poe Dameron gets caught up in a battle with the Strus Clan involving plenty of laser blasting, a high speed pursuit on speeders and much more.

Even though everything under the Star Wars banner is overseen by the Lucasfilm story group to ensure all the story details and whatnot are canon, when it comes to these LEGO games, there are plenty of artistic liberties taken just for the sake of gameplay that don't seem to be part of canon. But we can probably safely assume that Poe Dameron got help from scavengers and merchants while stranded on Jakku, and maybe he got into a little scuffle on the planet.
