I mean – lots and lots to process here. First of all, Chris Pratt rides with the raptors at the end of the this trailer in a really, really awesome moment. It's going to take a lot to get that image out of my head. Obviously you think – "Oh crap," but then realize, he's got them under his control.

In that moment, everything this trailer is trying to say is wrapped up. This is not the Jurassic Park we remember. Humans have come to control dinosaurs. We realized that life may find a way, but we can beat it. In particular, the zoo scenes in this look really, really interesting. Of course, all that goes away once they create a new, genetically modified dinosaur, which we've heard is called the D-Rex.

Here's the thing though. This trailer makes it look like they are only chasing the D-Rex. Is it a big enough threat to keep the tension up for the entire movie? You'd have to think, with the movie still seven months away, there's a lot more to this. This is just a tease. They wouldn't spoil the entire movie (kids go to island, dinosaur gets loose, people evacuated, Pratt on the hunt) in this two and a half minute trailer.

Also – that seven month thing is important to remember when you realize some of the CG – like that shark bait – looks a little off. You can be sure by the time June 12 rolls around, it'll look good.

All in all, a really solid tease of Jurassic World, co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow. It stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, BD Wong and more. It opens June 12.
