‘Gulliver’s Travels’ Moves Back to Christmas

In a curious box office chess move, 20th Century Fox’s 3D Jack Black film Gulliver’s Travels has had its release date pushed back from December 22 to December 25, the the exact opposite move Paramount made with True Grit. Gulliver will now be the lone wide release on Christmas but find himself without a Friday night to help his opening weekend box office. However, when the Friday night in question is Christmas Eve, box office must be considered negligible. Thanks to Box Office Mojo.
