Briefly: Chief Creative Officer Geoff John has announced at New York Comic-Con that the movie trailer for Green Lantern will premiere attached to Warner Bros’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which hits theaters (in 2D only, as we learned moments ago) on November 19th 2010. Many fans were hoping that Warner Bros would release a teaser trailer at the Con this weekend, but it looks like we may have to wait until November to see our first video glimpse of Ryan Reynolds in action as Green Lantern.
Here is the official plot synopsis from the html code of the official website:
In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
Green Lantern is set to hit theaters next summer on June 17th 2011.
