Carbonated Drinks: Otter’s Fizzy Orange Juice and Peachtree Fizzy Tea
Diagon Alley brings a bunch of new Wizarding World beverage options. Two of them are carbonated, and both of these drinks are available at The Leaky Cauldron and The Hopping Pot.
Peachtree fizzy tea is a peach flavored carbonated beverage with a hint of ginger. Its a tasty sweet refreshing drink. The drink was described as an effervescent peach-flavored wizarding beverage brand, and appeared in the movies. According to the film prop, the beverage brand was established in 1876, “made with magic” and had a “fizzing volume of 87%”.
The other is the Otter’s Fizzy Orange Juice which is a slightly carbonated orange soda drink with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon and a slice of orange. Not the most exciting drink in the wizarding world, but a refreshing choice.
Harry Potter fans might recognize Otters Fizzy Orange Juice was a Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes product that was created as a background prop in the movies.
Candy: Skiving Snackbox
The Weasley’s Skiving Snackbox is exclusive to Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, not available anywhere else. The collectible box costs $39.99 and comes packed with four different kinds of candy: Fainting Fancies, Nosebleed Nuggets, Fever Fudge (vanilla fudge jelly beans), and Puking Pastilles (hard boiled sweets).
The story is that the set is created by the Weasleys to include a range of sweets to make the consumer appear to be ill and unable to stay in class. The candies and box set were in both the books and the films, and are an exclusive new addition to the Diagon Alley expansion.
In the books, Gillywater was a wizarding beverage made from a mixture of Gillyweed and water. You might recall that Romilda Vane once attempted to convince Harry Potter to drink some Gillyweed that she had spiked with Love Potion. And of course, Universal has turned this into a drink option at Diagon Alley.
At the Eternelle’s Elixir of Refreshment stand, the Wizarding staff can mix a potion of your choice with a bottle of gillywater. You can enjoy Fire Protection Potion, Babbling Beverage, Draught of Peace or Elixir To Induce Euphoria mixed in with your gillywater.
This is the one item on this list that isn’t amazing as much as it is a cool experience to see the Wizarding staff open a bottle of colored potion (which we assume is just an added flavoring) and add it into the gillywater (which we assume is regular bottled water with a special Wizarding World label).
