Charlie Sheen is about to have another run-in with the law. Not in real life (not that we know of at least, but who ever knows with this guy), but on the ABC series The Goldbergs.
The actor is set to reprise his small but memorable role from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off as “Boy in the Police Station” for an upcoming episode which will pay homage to the John Hughes classic. After the jump, get details and see the first images from the Goldbergs Ferris Bueller episode featuring Sheen.
People debuted the first pics from the Goldbergs Ferris Bueller episode.
The episode sees Barry (Troy Gentile) faking sick in an attempt to create his own Bueller-esque day off. Unfortunately, Barry Goldberg’s day off doesn’t really go as planned, and it only gets worse after Pops (George Sagal) and Adam (Sean Giambrone) step in.
At one point, Barry’s sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia) goes to rat out her brother for ditching — and subsequently runs into the “Boy in the Police Station,” played by Sheen.
In the original film, Sheen meets Ferris Bueller’s sister (Jennifer Grey) at the police station after she gets in trouble for filing a false report. She tells him to “blow [himself]” but is seen making out with him not long after.
Here’s hoping the Goldbergs doesn’t recreate the “Boy in the Police Station” plotline too closely, because what was cute 30 years ago would probably read as creepy now that Sheen is 49.
Or maybe this is a Wooderson-type situation: He keeps getting older, the teenage girls he picks up at the police station stay the same age. The leather jacket and the messy hairstyle don’t seem to change with age either.
The Goldbergs Ferris Bueller episode will air sometime in early 2015. While we wait, revisit the original “Boy in the Police Station” scene from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off below.Cool Posts From Around the Web:
