Big Trouble Remake

Earlier this week we learned that The Rock Dwayne Johnson will star in a Big Trouble in Little China remake. Someone decided to ask John Carpenter, the director of the original now-classic Big Trouble in Little China, his thoughts on the news. Find out what the filmmaker said and learn if he has any involvement in this new film, after the jump.

So there you have it. 20th Century Fox owns the rights to the movie franchise and clearly Carpenter is not involved with the remake in any way. All we know is what was previously reported: the remake will be written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) and will star Johnson as Jack Burton, “an All-American trucker who gets dragged into a centuries-old mystical battle in San Francisco’s Chinatown.”
