Universal's Rogue Pictures released a teaser poster for the big screen adaptation of the video game classic CastleVania.

The teaser poster was displayed at the American Film Market last week.

Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson is attached to direct the $50 million film. The fact that Dimension Films supposedly dropped the project after they failed to embrace Anderson's script worries me quite a bit. That and the fact that Anderson is every bit a hack director.

The film will span many time periods, but most of the action will take place in 15th century Transylvania.
