Acme Archives To Release Alex Ross 'Planet Of The Apes' Posters At Comic-Con

If Matt Reeves has done his job right with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and we think he has, the film will drive people back to the original series. Viewers should be so curious about what comes next that the new film will turn people on to not only the 1968 original, but its sequels as well. Artist Alex Ross is doing that, too. He's releasing four brand new Planet of the Apes posters based on covers of the Boom Studios Comic Planet of the Apes: Cataclysm. They'll first be available at San Diego Comic-Con via Acme Archives. Each of these are a 17 x 22 inch giclee in a limited edition of 168. They'll cost $145 each and $195 for #4. You can first buy them at booth 5629 in Hall B on the main floor at Comic Con, and will go online July 28 at www.acmearchivesdirect.com
