Six 'Star Wars' Blu-Ray Promos Try To Remind You That You Still Love These Movies

George Lucas' changes to the Star Wars Blu-ray set have drawn some ire as of late, but let's be real — these things are still gonna sell like hotcakes. While Lucas' alterations really will turn off some of his fans, it's probably a safe bet that many more will shell out for them anyway, even if they're grumbling as they do so. With that in mind, here are six ads for the Blu-ray that try to put you in a more positive state of mind about the updated releases.

I actually quite like the first video, which is simple but effective — just brief clips of some of the most thrilling moments from the saga, cut together in a very dynamic way. It's not enough to make me stop hating that Vader "Nooooo!" but it's nice to be reminded of why we love this series so much when we aren't too busy getting mad at Lucas for messing with it.

As previously reported, the Blu-ray set will contain over 40 hours of special features footage — though a good chunk of that will be material we've already seen in previous releases. Here's a list of exactly what will be on each of the nine-disc complete saga set, according to Amazon:
