Jaden Smith won a fucking award! Are you kidding me? He is a horrible actor.
  • ...
Ya, Christopher Nolan not winning Best Director is bull...
While Iron Man has it's place,
Dark Knight is obviously the superior movie there...
I think they tried to spread the awards out a little,
just so that Dark Knight didn't sweep...
and seriously? Jaden Smith... come on...
    (btw I haven't seen Changeling,
    but I didn't think it was a Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror Movie)
  • Iamaguesthere
Hellboy II won best horror? I don't understand how that works????
  • Yoji
When did Hellboy 2 become a horror movie O.o
  • Ed P.
I was wondering the same thing. HB II isn't even close to being a horror film. Maybe someone mistook Hellboy for Hellhound or something. 100% Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
  • Tim
Wait, Hellboy 2 was a horror film? I mean there were monsters but... I'd call it more of a fantasy / sci-fi action adventure movie.
  • I read "Best Horror Film: Hellboy II: The Golden Army" and didn't bother scrolling any further. I mean, why bother, right? That says everything I need to know about these awards.
  • Lance_HBomb
Hellboy II was a parody of a horror movie. Like Scary Movie 5.

Not that it was terrible, but Hellboy II was like Diablo with guns. End of story.
  • World_Wide_Webber
Ever since it had monsters in it.

BTW, nice to see 'Let the Right One In' getting some respect.
  • Cyfer
Agree with most of the awards but Nolan didn“t win best director?wtf
  • edog
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull for best costumes? Talk about a pity prize. Hellboy II (a masterful artistic achievement overshadowed in the best superhero summer ever) should have taken costumes too.

And the less said about Son of Will Smith the better
  • Best Performance by a Younger Actor: Jaden Christopher Smith (The Day the Earth Stood Still)

What, was he the only person nominated this year? Even then I'd have second thoughts about giving him the award.

Moon better win best scifi in the 2010 Saturn awards
  • Frug
I wouldn't hold your breath. It'll have to beat out the all mighty Avatar for that prize unless Avatar is put in the fantasy catagory.
  • quintushalls
Oh yeah, I didn't realize that Avatar's release date was in 2009. I think it is mean that the best science fiction film of the decade comes out 14 days before the decade ends.
  • jason B
-did jolie win because the title of her film could be seen as science fictiony?
    -deborah morgan gettin some love!
    -fav over nolan...hahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
-the hellboy comics can be seen as horror, but NOT the movies.
-deservedly so, this seems to be the year of leonard nimoy.
  • arbitrary page (or website) and shows domains of backlinks. It shows separately different classes of URLs like .edu, .mil., .com, .net, .gov and other. It is similar to host and IP backlinks
  • Hellboy II was a parody of a horror movie.
  • Palmer
Really Adrian Pasdar and Jaden Smith? They both...sucked.
  • Captain Awesome
    "Best Director: Jon Favreau"

    What the hell?
  • Ben
Whats the difference between Life Career award and Lifetime achievement?
  • jred009
Okay. I love Dexter and all, but I really think Summer Glau deserved to win best supporting actress. She's one of the reasons I watched Tscc.
  • SophiaN
So happy Moonlight won Best Series on DVD!!!!

It's about time it got rewarded for its excellence!!!!
  • thebertosaurus
