Olivia Munn Cast in Iron Man 2

Back in April, Attack of the Show co-host Olivia Munn revealed on Twitter that she has been cast in two upcoming movies: One is the upcoming Steve Carell/Tina Fey comedy Date Night, and the other is some project that she was working out for but wasn’t “legally” allowed to publicly discuss yet. It turns out that she has a role in Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2. No word on how large of a role she might play. I assume that she’ll probably be in one or two scenes, possibly as a television announcer. Munn said on Twitter that her role is “definitely” bigger than her one minute appearance in Rob Schneider’s Big Stan.

Update: Munn later commented on our story on her twitter account:

We’ve featured Munn previously on the site in one of Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer’s short films. Munn is also featured on the cover of the July/August issue of Playboy Magazine. You can watch Olivia unviel the cover on her show, Attack of the Show, embedded after the jump.

ugh...this is the stupid bitch who was attempting to dissect the interrogation room scene from TDK, and was ripping into nolan/the film for being so 'unbelievable'. at first i thought it was really cute to see a hot chick taking some interest in the film - no matter how wrong or asinine she was. then i actually listened to the inane babble that kept pouring out of her pie-hole and i haven't watched attack of the show since.

bottom line: hotness does not make up for brain-dead stupidity, or fakeness. i'd love to see the tele-prompter short out and expose her for the poseur bitch she is.

Even though your opinion seems to get a negative reaction, I believe that you, sir, are correct in all of your points except one: Olivia Munn is not hot. I don't care what anyone says but she is not hot in the same levels that other Hot women are Hot. She just gets extra points for looking like she gives a damn, posing or not.

I used to watch Attack of the Show a lot when I was younger but I stopped watching G4 altogether once it became overfilled with "Cops" and other re runs of old syndication. It wasn't the same channel I tuned into when it first started broadcasting. It didn't feel like G4TV "TV made for gamers" but more of a completely changed network to appeal to the "Spike" crowd.

Kevin Pereira is alright but I caught an episode recently and I can't say it convinced me to tune into a sea of re runs.

They've come a long way from G4TV day 1. A LONG way, especially considering all the old good shows on g4 for a while, were just the few they had from the transition from Tech Tv, which I've always thought was way better when it was still on... plus they didn't have Cops.

I thinks it's incredible news that Olivia Munn has been added to the cast of Ironman 2. She's talented , smart, funny and sexy which can only help make the movie be even better. I was looking forward to seeing this movie before, but now it's the one thing i can't wait for in 2010. Congrats Olivia.

I've tried to watch Attack of the Show but it's aggravating, dull and dumb. I don't care for Munn, or her closely cropped friend. Assuming though this is a small role I don't see how this makes much difference one way or another. Maybe Tony Stark is judging a hot-dog eating contest.

I'm not really a fan of G4, but as far as tv gamer girls go Munn always seemed like the poor mans Morgan Webb. At least Morgan is funny and doesn't seem like an attention grabber. I kinda hope she doesn't have much to do with the Iron Man, but that's just my opinion

Oliva Munn has been confirmed as playing the role of War Machine in Iron Man 2. Don Cheadle is still playing Col. James Rhodes but, I believe that Oliva is being used for War Machine's movements, when suited; which is really when Rhodey becomes War Machine anyway. Check IMDB. It has Oliva listed as playing War Machine. So, that's the only thing that makes any sense to me.
