Wow, The Hangover at #1 again. It sure does deserve it. Funniest movie in the last 5 years if not more. Funny that it was not even supposed to be at #1 last week.

I went to The Hangover tonight. I came late and was surprised to find the theater packed. I had to sit way on the side in the second row. I'm not surprised it's #1.
  • Hangover was a great time, I just wish they hadn't revealed so much in the trailer, like the dude in the trunk, and the tiger in the bathroom. Tyson surprisingly wasn't that funny.
  • The Hangover in no way is the funniest movie of the last five years or even this year. Just wait in a month when Bruno comes out and everybody is forgetting about The Hangover and everybody starts quoting that. Most of the funny parts were in the trailer and the plot had zero payoff. The conclusion behind the main conflict was so stupid. I still really enjoyed it but come on guys. Pelham shouldn't be making that much money because that means Travolta and Tony Scott will continue to get jobs and neither one of them deserve it anymore. Speaking of not getting any more work, too bad Eddie it was nice knowing you. Who would have thought twenty years ago this guy would turn into box office poison. He was the biggest box office sta in Hollywood. Hopefully his career will make comedians think twice before going soft. Up deserves to be the biggest movie of the year and was amazing. Star Trek is still hanging around who would have thought that?
  • Two weeks until the box office really explodes, with Transformers 2 and I wholly expect that to not only be the top grossing movie of the year but to have the second biggest opening of all time. I am not a huge fan of it but everybody it seems is excited for giant robots beating the shit out of each other.

Rigghhhtttt MSMITH0610, Bruno comes out and everyone just suddenly forgets about the movie that has had insane positive word of mouth and raking in insane amounts of money for a movie with no real big star power. You fail.

Most of the funny parts were not in the trailer and are you really going to worry about how much "payoff" the plot had when you get so many damn laughs throughout? Stick to arthouse, then you can have your mind blown for those epic pretentious payoffs!
