transformers 2

Paramount has begun airing a couple of new television spots for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Also, the video clip we posted yesterday featuring Megan Fox and the mini RC remote controlled decepticon spy named Wheelie, is now available in English. Woop ass is a-coming!
  • tom.
Haven't heard the term whoop-ass for about 7 years, and even then it was a joke... Other than that everything is looking great. I am willing to go with the cheesy Michael Bay moments as long as they feature Transformers.
  • Whoop ass is used sometimes in military basic training and the military itself, just FYI.
  • Wow, I'm at a loss for words. I liked that clip better in German... it wasn't as cheesy!
  • fex
I have to agree. Still, the first movie was shit , so I'm glad this is looking consistent with whats already been established.
  • Ian
Your hot, but you ain't to bright! LOL.
  • Richard
wheelie just became my number 1 favourite transformers sorry starscream
I love wheelie now fuck it just made my day and you guys know wheelie sounds like that spongebob dude right , and i never heard cussing so much from a robot before. this clip just proved what the first movie didn't have character issues

    well done BAY

*batteries not included - part 2

Really? That's awesome... and hilarious. Must be an american thing.
  • Actually, I've only heard it in the Canadian Armed Forces...
  • Optimus and Megatron fighting in the woods and the shot of Prime using his gun looked awesome.

Pre-ordering my tickets today! Can't wait until the 24th it should be pretty fun.
  • jason B
i'm sorry, but 'face-plate' optimus prime might be the coolest & most badass looking character i've ever seen...next to 'no-name' clint eastwood.
  • MichaelBay.com features 5-6 new TV Spots
  • jason B
and even though wheelie could be seen as a bit corny, i'm liking the harsh language he uses. i realize it's not a substitute for good dialogue, but we'll see.

also, i really hope to hear more 'cybertronian speak'. it added another layer of development in the first one - imo.
  • Solid
Kids are going to go crazy watching this. The only thing I hope is that the writing has improved this go around. Sigh... it just ain't a movie to me if it has no soul.
  • mcgruff
    hahaha sounds like Joe Pesci
  • Ghad
    Haha, Wheelie looks hilarious
  • nelace
You guys notice how for the TV Spots, the 'trailer voice guy' always says just "Transformers" at the end of each trailer and not "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"? I wonder if some people will think that this is a re-release of the first film into theatres....? Of course, I'm referring to people who haven't seen the first one. Why wouldn't they say the full title?
  • This is going to be worse than the first one.
  • I was waiting for Wheelie to whip out The Clamps. Anyone else?
  • LOL! That's exactly what I was thinking. Hopefully the Donbot makes an appearance.
  • can someone check the voice actor on them? Id really love for it to be the clamps guy.
  • Ben
That clip was better in German.....but Optimus and his gun was epic.
  • That clip was great, glad to see much more personality out of the robots this time. Foul mouthed Wheelie FTW.
  • there's some new action shots in those spots.
  • there's probably 3 or 4 more new tv spots that bay has listed on his site. all with a little bit of new footage.
  • Whoop-ass indeed. Let the Bayhem begin!
  • That was definitely Steve Buscemi... I'd be shocked if that wasn't his voice.
  • Orko
It's not his voice acctually. It's Tom Kenny. He's the voice of Starscream, Bumblebee, abd others in transformers animated, also the voice of Spongebob
  • Phontsolo
    Whoop-asstic!
  • Chris
I can't believe that anyone actually thought thought clip #3 was any good. What is with the cussing? I don't care about cussing in most movies but my first reaction was that if felt out of place and unexpected. I thought that it could have been funny but was just felt lacking and because of that they threw cuss words in?... had higher expectations I guess.

The 23rd LAW of bad movies:

No less than one non-human character must have a Brooklyn accent.

I have spoken, go forth and spread my word!
  • lol. nice
  • Garbage pure hollywood garbage!
  • Movie looks amazing. The 24th can't come soon enough.

Leave it to Slashfilm and Michael to fuck up a classic AUTOBOT.

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE. WHEELIE IS AN AUTOBOT, NOT A DECEPTICON.

FUCK MICHAEL BAY, THAT PRICK, TO CHANGE WHEELIE FROM AN AUTOBOT TO A DECEPTICON.
  • Manuel Sanchez
He is an Autobot in the film. Check out his toy the next time you go to Target or Wal-Mart, it says he doesn't like the Decepticons so he'll eventually betray them and join the Autobots.
  • Cat
    dhgdh
Wheelie does whatever he is told by autobots or deceptipunks so relax.
  • steve buscemi?
  • Johan
That mini robot. WTF? Best line so far: "You´re hot but you aint that bright"
  • Humor that will make me cringe and action that will make me piss myself. And I'm OK with that.
  • fex
Also, It's nice to see Johnny 5 again.
  • Manuel Sanchez
I'm not sure but I think the voice actor for Wheelie is also from Transformers: Animated. Also, Wheelie starts out as a Decepticon in the film but ultimately ends up as an Autobot like he should be. Check out his toy counterpart's box and it says he doesn't like or agree with the Decepticons.
  • Chris
Tom Kenny, the voice of spongebob, is Wheelie. Idk how you guys got Buscemi
