  • i thought the drama section was well done

"Hello, My Name Is Inigo Montoya..."
  • A Knights Tale. Heath Ledger baby!
  • Two come to mind though:

"Godd morning and, in case I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!"

    And,

"You're lack of faith disturbs me."

    Hell, even

"Come with me if you want to live."

Yes that is three. I can't count...
  • Man, Nicholson had like 5 lines alone. That just proves how awesome he is.

    ;)
  • My biggest problem is how they kinda cheated a line or two by throwing out the latter half of the line. Fun overall though.
  • A lotta people here have good picks. Of course, I had a couple:

    - Nothing from Independence Day? That's the best movie ever! "I gave it a cold."
    - Monty Python and the Holy Grail? You said 100 Best Movie Lines - you didn't say they had to be American movies. "We are the Knights who say.... Ni!"
    - Freeway? That shit is hilarious! "You're gonna do sex to me when I'm dead?!"
    - And why not throw some Happy Days on there? "He's gonna jump the shark!"
  • cdiasgreizis
Only 11 of those were featuring female actresses. kind of sad.
  • "Soylent Green is People!" - Soylent Green
    "Shwiiingg!" - Wayne's World*
"Who ya gonna call?" - Ghostbusters*
"Where we're going, we don't need roads." - Back to the Future*
"To infinity and beyond!" - Toy Story
"Where does he get those wonderful toys?" - Batman*
"Just Keep Swimming" - Finding Nemo
    "Khhaaaaannn!" - Star Trek 2
    "Allllrightythen" - Ace Ventura*
"Damn you all to hell!" - Planet of the Apes*
"Just a flesh wound." - Monty Python & the Holy Grail
"Yipee Kay-Yay, motherfucker!" - Die Hard*
"Wax on. Wax off." - Karate Kid*

*- a movie that was on the list, but I think the quotes I gave are better suited.
  • "WHAT'S IN THE BOOOooOoX?!?!"
  • i agree. i couldnt hardly hear half of em and the only reason i knew what they were saying was cuz theyre famous lines haha
  • "Soylent green is people!"

    "Why so serious?"

    "Immortality. Take it! It's yours!"

"Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!"
  • Col. Kilgore: "Charlie Don't Surf"
  • That could have been a great video. But the music was way too loud, making about half the lines completely obscured. Some terrible sound editing there.
  • "Are you out of your Vulcan mind!" Star Trek
    or,

"I got your gun!" Star Trek

or "Well, at least we'll have spares." Bruce Wayne Batman Begins

or even Darth Vader "Apology excepted commander. (after he chokes the guy)
  • "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamination of the women"
"45 long slide with laser sighting"

    Those must be Steelo picks
  • lamination of the women? interesting.
  • "Now i break you, like i break your friend."
    Bloodsport is awesome.
  • ceej
"Royal with cheese"... That's the BEST line from Pulp Fiction??! Really? 'Imma get medieval on your ass!" makes the movie!

and "Whoa" would have been a better choice for the Matrix.
  • There should be a greatest video games quote video. "Someone set up us the bomb"
  • tru-critique
Not one line from animation or a non-white actor...hmmmm interesting.
  • benf
Javier Bardem, ET, HAL 9000, and Chong Li from Bloodsport aren't white.
    But I would have liked a "Waaaaall-E."
and possibly "I am a star. I'm a star, I'm a star, I'm a star." from the last scene of Boogie Nights.
  • will
    Khan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????
  • Mike
HAHAHA anything with Piper i'm in
  • Mike
    HAHAHAHAHAHA
  • Konrad
The only one I missed was "KHAAAAAAN!"
  • Jack Nicholson heavily represented there.
  • zach
'wait til the get a load of me' from Batman instead of 'why so serious?' from Dark Knight.... come on.
  • WashUrFilthyVag
No They Live!!!!!! AHHHH!!!! WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO!!!
"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum"
  • you win.....this video is void

    Wateva happened to:
    "Yippie-Ki-Yay Motherfucker" from die hard
"Get some sleep Pam you look tiired" from bourne
"You Shame Me" from Drag Me to Hell wuold be nice
"Live Long and Prosper" or "I Can't Do it capn i don't have the power" From any Star Trek

and btw pickpocket Good Morning Vietnam was made as a comedy about war not a war movie with comedy in it
  • Luis
Nothing from Casablanca. Way too obvious to miss. Just the most famous lines below.

    Play it, Sam.
    We'll always have Paris.
Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

    A personal favorite:
He's just like any other man, only more so.
  • isn't "here's looking at you, kid" from casablanca? that was there
  • Luis
    Yeah, you are right.
  • needs more ahhnuld
  • Don't worry. It's not a tumor.
  • "Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." - Patton

I would have liked to have seen more war movies. How does Good Morning Vietnam make comedy?
  • I've always seen that as a dramedy, a mix of comedy and drama.
  • Lawdog
What? Patton? That was straight up slapstick!
  • No Anchorman??
  • Zen
"You don't have to fight the shark to fight for the wave."
    -Mitchell Goosen, from Airborne.
  • To Infinity and Beyond does deserve to be there.
  • SomeGuy
I feel they missed out on one of the best....

    "Why so serious?"

We all know what thats from
  • Of course-- "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
  • "We spared no expense" a preferred quote from Jurassic Park)

my only criticism - an otherwise amazing collection
funny how often i state the lines day to day...
  • MisterCurtis
A few odd ones in there where there were much better lines from the same movies.
I thought "Friend-O" was a better line from No Country.
No "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker" from die hard, seriously?
I personally love "Great Scott!" and "this is heavy" from BTTF.
  • I would like to see Morpheus said: You are the One, Neo.
  • ya i thought that would be in there rather than "i know kung fu"
