  • So many news articles! The one that caught my eye was about McG. I live in Burbank, but hopefully I can make it down there!

    Peter, also how was UP?
  • jank
that's just a couple heavily traffic congested fwys away. being a local myself, i too shall try and make it.
  • Well, I get off work at around 5:30, so I'd have to bust my ass out right then and drive like a crazy lady. aka, all of us.
  • I went to the Zach Snyder one at the same place and time. It was pretty well organized. I got there 4 hours early and felt pretty ridiculous bc people didn't really start showing up till like 6:30. The point I'm trying to make (poorly) is that you'll probably be fine even if you get there way late. you know?
  • Awesome, well thanks for that. Maybe we might be the only girls at this one :*
  • Infrafan
Here's hoping Venom gets more respect this time around if it happens. That Carl SaganMatrix mix is great, not to mention that periodic table of superheroics. Very cool stuff. this installment.
  • "Fox will release Big Trouble in Little China on Blu-ray on August 4th. "

Best news I've heard all week. Love this movie! Can't get any campier than this :P
  • Thanks for the heads-up - nice!
  • edc2
    INDEED!
  • Ha, Love the IRISHMAN! WALKEN!!! This Page 2 is tops today! My cynical note on the day here is in re: to the "Funny People" extras - Ha, Ha, gee, yeah, that;s great - guess what? We know there are extra scenes of people laughing! Your movie is about stand-up! Please don;t do us any favors with adding extra conetent that isnt't funny - its bad enough the film most likely willl not be funny. Be reminded, as a fellow long islander - Juss, your job is to cut out the fat, the crap and make sure deliverablers are good. We're not nine year olds here - my advice is fo you to stop acting like one. (UNBELEIEVABLE!)
    Rock n Roll Friday, baby.

Speaking as someone who was there at the filming of Funny People for what was, essentially, a three hour stand up comedy special - you have no idea what you are talking about. The extra features aren't going to be "scenes of people laughing". They have hours and hours of really great stand up comedy which could make it onto the DVD.
  • Yes, I know it will not be of people laughing, why would you think that? But what did he think we were expecting? Cool you got to the show, though. I doubt it was that hilarious... especially if Rogen was there. Still good ticket!
  • Adubya
Sorry Mr. McFarlane, but Sam Raimi has all but said he hates Venom and that he was shoehorned into the last movie against his wishes. From what we've heard so far, it seems pretty impossible that he'd end up in this one.
  • the Star Wars themed wedding is pretty crazy, but cool and was probably way more fun than attending a regular, boring wedding. "Drag me to Hell" looks good.
  • That sequel to 'Gladiator' actually didn't look bad at all, all they have to do is take out the 'Sequel to Gladiator' part and they can have a pretty badass movie...
  • Why can't McG and Rian Johnson switch Apple stores? Let NY have McG and LA have Rian Johnson. Damnit!
  • jason B
dude i was thinking the same thing!! i'm 15 minutes away from the LA store, & over a 3 hour flight to NY...damnit is right! how cool would it be to see rian and maybe get a very tidbits on his upcoming sci-fi flick?!
  • hahah omgg I want to marry everything about the squirrels and star wars action figures.
  • Awesome, well thanks for that. Maybe we might be the only girls at this one :*)
  • the crazies is shooting here in des moines tonight. my dad is going to go and be an extra. i opted out cause i wanna see star trek.
  • id see that gladiator movie, no problem.
  • Jarryd
I am very disappoint that the superhero periodic table has Iron Man at the iridium spot rather than the iron spot. But what can I say I am just a chemistry major. Yet that periodic table is awesome
  • Great page 2 I must say. I really enjoyed the Transformers 2 game trailer and the possibility of Venom returning.
  • jason B
great page 2...too much to comment on:

-NO MORE VENOM!! let raimi do what he does...& i think he's voiced his disdain for the character. i really hope he has total control over this film, because drag me to hell looks brilliant, and i know SM4 can return spidey to the top of the superhero film foodchain.

    -rip mickey carrol.

-walken & kilmer? i'll take it!
