Blade Runner Video Game

Steven Chagnon, Alina Gal, and Ilya Nedyal collaborated to create screenshots for a Blade Runner video game using CryEngine 2 for a Movie-themed Game-Artist.net competition. After the jump I’ve included another notable submission is this Fifth Element rendering by Robert Dukes. I’ve actually made the above Blade Runner screenshot my desktop background.

  • I have to say I really dig that "Oldboy" submission
  • itsonpage3
yeah me too; that scene would be such an awesome side-scroller to play
  • absolutely stunning. and I also must say, it does remind me of OldBoy.
  • .___.
    i bet it does
  • There were some really awesome submissions in that contest.
  • Love the atmospheric tone to the first two. Very dank and depressing.
  • The one with mcdonolds looks like a scene from 5th element movie
  • Great shots, I like the Brazil sign under the cop car in the first one.

don't go; you'll get a virus and or trojan
  • Myeke
haha really.. i hope not it's just this dumb game where you battle haha it's dumb just trying to get points, I hope this site isn't linked to that stuff or i'm screwed haha... but a fifth element game would still be sick.
  • RLM
That Fifth-Element game does exist but it's from the early nineties and most of the pieces that load are quicktime movies. Not as compelling as a game IMHO.

Yay! i sent this in 2 weeks ago haha !
  • btw, The 5th element game is kind-of fun and the Blade Runner game by Westwood studios is really excellent.
  • LoveTheDrake
Loved the Westwood Blade Runner game... Wish there was a modern BR game coming out. Those screen shots are great.

The Blade Runner pic looks like the cover to Iron Maiden: "Somewhere In Time"
