  • Mza
Huh, John McCain never mentioned he was in a war before.
  • I can't wait to hear what he has already said a handful of times.
  • doesn't the the guy from "district 9" (in the picture above) look exactly like daniel day lewis in "gangs of new york"? Even down to the eyeball.
  • He does a bit actually
  • I'm getting like...Darren Aronofsky / Christian Bale meets John Hamm from Mad Men vibes for some reason
  • musicsoup
I also see some Viggo in there. Like it could be an image from The Road, and I'd believe it. However, let that not distract us, District 9 looks fucking incredible.

And as far as the Transformers score goes, yeah, must be really time consuming reworking the score from the first film for the 2nd film. And not to forget, the tedious work of taking Linkin Park's shit song and orchestrating it into a shit score. I'm also sure that Linkin Park had a lot do with the orchestration. Mike Shinoda is a fucking tool bag.
  • ROAD_FAN
I, too, thought it was from the Road. There was a similar screenshot, I'm sure.
  • Lpfanaddy
Anybody else think that creature from "The Pack" looks like a blatant rip off of the ogre in "Pan's Labyrinth"? The only difference I can see is that they gave him the bottom lip of a predator...
  • Amy
I was just going to say this. They look almost exactly the same.
  • maracle
I think it looks like a Head Crab from Half Life
  • why do we need another stupdi tween franchise from Disney? It makes me sick how they make global superstars out of girls who are barely 18. WTF.

    someone is jealous
  • tweens need stuff to watch/like to. and, i dont know if you know, disney has been known to cater to youngins. what else are they going to watch? adults have franchises, tweens need something to. who cares, get off their back. also im sure money played a big factor.
  • cashlion
Definitely. When I first saw it, I thought it was for a spin-off or something.
  • Vesty
If Abrams ever gets around to doing a Dark Tower film, I hope he doesn't try to cram it all into 1 movie.
  • That Star Trek premiere pic is cool. I kind of like it more than I liked the actual movie.
  • I like the new character posters. They're set up to be as a good vs. evil thing. Snape vs. Dumbledore (though we all know the truth behind that now), Malfoy vs. Harry, Greyback vs. the Weasley's. But... Slughorn and Hermione really do not fit in with this series. What the hell?
  • so maybe it's not supposed to be good vs. evil. just a thought
  • "JJ Abrams tells IGN that he still hopes to develop a big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series with Damon Lindelof after Lost ends. I still don’t believe it will ever happen."

I hope this happens sometime in my lifetime.
  • He looks like a mix between Day-lewis and Viggo Mortenson.
