The jokes in the trailer are awful. And it looks like, as with the first film, Bay is going to subject us to utterly meaningless and hollow character and plot development. Maybe this time he'll actually remember to tie it all up, instead of just glossing over everything.

Seriously, Transformers ought to just be 2 hours of robots breaking stuff. Leave the 'plot' for the Robotech movie.

I say character development and plot should be priorities.

Save the jokes for another movie, especially if you want to be darker.

Nope. It's got a classy Linkin' Park tune. BTW I want an epic Robotech movie sooo bad. And Bay should not be allowed anywhere near it. Seriously, they should create working cannons on the SDF-1 to use on Bay just in case he tries to sneak on set. I can't lie though, I had fun with Transformers and will probably have fun with the sequel too.

That should be the next MPAA campaign:
