  • excited to see www.MakingOf.com on here!
  • Terrance Howard has the worst top 5 list of movies ever. I mean he is in one of them, seriously wth.
  • Eric
Hold up. So Van Damme will do a shitty(probably) Universal Soldier sequel but he turns down the Expendables? For shame!
  • Fred
...and right after the brilliant JCVD.
  • The Expendables character wasn't deep enough he said. I suppose this one is...
  • He was under contract for a third Universal Soldier film. He diddnt want to do it.
  • That fan made Avengers poster is kinda cool, but i hate the ultimate verisons.
  • I wouldn't have guessed that Terrance Howard was an "Mary Poppins" kind of guy but it's nice that he likes a variety of movies. Gotta love Star Trek but enough of Twilight already! $62,000 is a lot to pay for one feature film. That is outrageous!

  • I know it's just the superfan in me but could Olivia Munn be in cloverfield 2?
  • Kirk + Leia. It was meant to be.
  • Infrafan
MakingOf.com seems to be a fantastic website for anyone interested in learning more about the world of cinema. Looking forward to seeing this site grow. Natalie Portman does it again.

And I agree with John August. I find films where the ending isn't clean and more ambiguous in a real world way to weirdly being more satisfying. A moment captured in time.
  • Seth
Peter, please fix the problem on your site where images only half load.

    Puh-lease?
  • I have a friend who's sister is dragging him to that Twilight convention.
  • That story about Eli Roth's I.B. character is so goddamn awesome.
  • Tercotta
The Eli Roth character sounds awesome.
  • Tarsem Singh has such an amazing vision, with The Cell and now The Fall. He's definitely a real artist.
  • ziggi
    i lol'd at the indy/stewart/kitty gif.
(mainly because i wondered about the person that made it.)
  • Palmer
Fan art is a weird thing...especially when it's posted online.
  • Weird is another way of saying, crap, sometimes.
  • I would be interested if they got all those "Inside Media" productions together for makingof.com
  • Aaron
This is not a direct critique of the "fan" who made the Avengers' poster, but the poster itself looks pretty terrible. Even for a fan creation.
  • Lpfanaddy
"The Cell 2"? WHY....?!?! That looks freaking horrible, I loved the first film, why does the studio have to muck up its legacy with this crap?
  • mike
Word of warning on the version of JCVD on netflix on demand, it's dubbed.
  • Nick
I am always the first to bash Twitter, but for everyone that enjoys it, I recommend you become a fan of John Murphy on Facebook. The guy stays very connected with his fans by responding to questions regularly. Seems like a really cools guy.
  • Geet
No offense to that poster maker but that's a horrible fan poster, I mean we've seen Grade A level fan made stuff before this isn't worth it. And it took a week to get news about Ken Annakin's death?!
  • Happy_Evil_Dude
Seriously, do you ever proof read what you write:

    1. "I’m not sure exactly why this animated gif image has a kitten is running backwards on top of a boulder that has Jean-Luc Picard’s face on it, chasing after Indiana Jones, but I found it funny." should be "I’m not sure exactly why this animated gif image has a kitten that is running backwards on top of a boulder that has Jean-Luc Picard’s face on it, chasing after Indiana Jones, but I found it funny.".

    2. "Jackie Chan has booked his 100th film project, an action caper titled Chinese Zodiac, which he we star in and co-direct." should be "Jackie Chan has booked his 100th film project, an action caper titled Chinese Zodiac, which he will star in and co-direct."
  • You need a CAPITAL S dumbtwat
  • jacob
