Tyler Stout's The Big Lebowski top

We’ve been writing about artist Tyler Stout since we first discovered his “Remember the Alamo” poster at the Alamo Drafthouse. The Austin based artist frequently provides kick ass posters for the Alamo’s special events, most of which we have featured on /Film: Robocop , The Road Warrior , Spaced , Hellride , Big Trouble in Little China, The Lost Boys, The Warriors , The Thing, and Blade Runner. Stout recently created a poster for The Big Lebowski, a limited print run of 300 sold out in a matter of minutes (I wasn’t even able to grab one) So, sadly they are unavailable for purchase unless Stout decides to print a second run. But I thought I’d share the poster with you guys anyways. Full poster after the jump.

  • It looks alright.
  • that is amazing poster!
  • damn those 300 lucky lebowski fans.
  • awesome, but why in italian?
  • Bull
    give me that poster
  • just a guy
What a jackass this guy is to limit it to 300. That just leads to people putting them on ebay.
  • One of my favorite all-time movies. I'd pay a small fortune to hang that on my wall. Why not in English though? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all his previous posters in English? And I don't think Italian is the native tongue of Salt Lake City either.

Watch the opening part of the dvd.

I was lucky enough to get one, i read it sold out after 10 minutes or so. There were less than 300 available, i think it was closer to 150. Of Note: Tyler announced there will be a gold variant available at postersandtoys.com in the future.

Apparently Big Lebowski Posters is a naturally zesty enterprise....
  • Juiceless
    I want one so bad.

    @ just a guy

Tyler Stout is anything but a jackass - one of the nicest artists out there. They're called limited edition posters for a reason. If you wanted a poster, you should have been on the ball.
  • Tyler is not Austin based, he is from the North West, the internet allows people to work from anywhere.

And he is too nice for his own good, to say he is a jackass is proof that you do not know what you are talking about.

I cant believe someone called him a jack ass. Nicest artist I've bought prints from.
  • This dude always has awesome prints.
