dracula song live
Usually we’d put this sort of thing in VOTD, but honestly, we just don’t want to wait until Monday to share this with you. At a Chicago screening of I Love You Man, Jason Segel and Paul Rudd were asked during the Q & A to perform “Dracula’s Lament”, the puppet musical song from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Watch the video after the jump.

  • Really cool that they did this.

It's nice that these really funny actors keep that funniness up outside of the silver screen. Love Jason Segel and Paul Rudd.
  • Awesome, that was one of the funniest parts of the whole movie. FSM was my favorite comedy of last year.
  • mikeyclt
dont forget the "I need a physciatrist" song... i cried
  • Paul Rudd and Jason Segal are just too adorable for words.
  • That was by far the best part of a pretty good comedy. I hope their new movie is good. Considering their last movies were FSM and Role Models, it should be hilarious.
  • Palmer
    Now that's funny...but I demand puppets!
  • jay
    "IM ONLY 6'4!"

    (how i met your mother)
  • "I realized that Iceketball is not for kids!"
  • Jason Segel is becoming one of my favorites from the Judd Apatow rolodex
  • thehick
ya this shows how cool segel is in real life, love his work , ever since HIMYM
  • Have to admit I love How I Met Your Mother. Barney is hilarious.
  • dagreenman18
I would pay damn good money to see the Dracula Puppet musical become a reality.
  • This is awesome. I can't believe that they actually agreed to do something like this at a Q&A session. Usually they tell people not to ask stuff like this... Go Jason Segel!
  • I was fortunate enough to be there to see it live and it was truly awesome. I'm extremely happy that people that had better seats than me also had video cameras. :)
  • God that was hilarious...
  • I've seen the new one 3 times and I can assure you it is excellent.
  • My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to be there. It was great. Paul and Jason were gracious and hung out a bit after the q&a. Funny movie too.
  • I love how Paul Rudd puts the mic to Jason's fingers as if that's where the sound comes out from.
  • Jeff
I believe he was putting the mic there because the keyboard wasn't hooked up to any sort of sound system and the speakers are in fact on the top of it right above the keys. I could be wrong.
  • this movie is epic. so good, great extended cameo from John Favreau!
  • Such a good find Peter.
  • God, I've seen Jason Segel grow up from Freaks and Geeks to now, and I love him more and more every day. He can do no wrong! Even if he is usually typecast as the overly-sensitive boyfriend (Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall...). But he plays the role well.
  • rnl
I too have watched these kids grow up, and feel so lucky to be going to their movies.
Friggen love them on freaks and geeks, still love them today.
  • This was funny! I haven't seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall in a while, this made me want to sit through it again.
  • This is wonderful.
  • so now paul rudd holding mics constitutes a "performance"?
  • You could see Rudd's smile clearly saying 'I'm-trying-to-look-interested-as-Jason-steals-the-audience-with-his-song', don't blame him though as that was freakin' hilarious!
  • Conor
I was there! It was awesome I was able to meet him and shake his hand after the Q&A
  • Mike
How'd you find out about the screening and Q&A? And where was it?
  • Too fucking funny...Really really can't wait for their movie...Die Die Die...I can't...
  • I took this video! I'm on /Film! THIS IS AWESOME.

I got a picture with the two of them after the screening but Jason got distracted so is looking to the side and I look like a HUGE geek. Well I am a huge geek but I try not to look that way in pictures so I can impress former schoolmates on Facebook.
  • DIE, DIE, DIE...I CAN'T.

    hahaha, never gets old.

just coming around to jasons work and i could pretty much kick myself in the ass for not seeing his stuff years ago because HE IS AMAZING! he truly inspires me to stay motivated and pursue my dreams, what he has done with his career and how he has stuck to who he is truly is rare and thats what makes him so unique. he seems like someone who i would like to just sit around and BS with! and i know that he has got an incredible future in front of him, i wish him nothing but the best.
