This movie (and poster quote) has nothing to do with Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In the Holy Grail, the "dead" guy that the man was trying to get rid of wasn't even dead. And when he said he was "getting better, " it was in response to the guy telling the dead collector that "he's very ill" and would be dead soon. Get your facts (and quotes) straight, people.

Yeaaaaaaah.....I said it REMINDED me of the movie. And it was after the guy's son fell from the window at Swamp Castle at the wedding ceremony. Not when Eric Idle was yelling "Bring out your dead". So...I do...in fact have my facts straight. :)

Crank: a high testosterone male's wet dream with the intelligence of kids programming on PBS.

The first Crank was pure genius and I expect more good stuff from Crank 2.

Overall, Statham's films are getting better, with the exception of Dungeon Siege. He's a decent actor (ever see London?), and in the hands of a capable director and writer he can turn out some very entertaining performances.

I love that films (I call crap like Crank "bunny flicks" because they're not films to me) which cannot even find a couple million dollars to get made are passed up for this kind of crap. First of all, Jason Statham is more of a stuntman than an actor and will probably do these damn things until he's old and gray.

Second, Hollywood needs to wake up and realize half of what they release is complete and utter garbage that will be forgotten in a few years anyway. Just stop making crap for the sake of making a couple million dollars.

Sadly, this flick will more than likely spring $5 to $6 million without a single critic even minding to review it and drive it in the dirt as being the worst tripe ever made.

And yes, I mean the admirable Mr. Ebert.

The original Crank is certified fresh over at Rotten Tomatoes, the place that compiles all critics reviews...so they obviously did "mind to write a review" and they will do so for this and it will probably be as well received because most of them understand what makes Crank so much fun. You have missed that point, we can all clearly see.

While I get your blatantly smart-assed retort, I refuse to trust everything RT reviews, and therefore most movie critics. I applaud you for your sheer misunderstanding of (a) what makes a film and (b) my point which is this...
