VOTD: Previously on Lost

From the sketch comedy group Animosity Pierre, comedy a short film about a guy who has never seen LOST, and decides to watch the first the first four seasons of LOST over the course of a three day bindge, in order to catch up for the Season 5 premiere. Of course, Dave drives his Lost-fan friend Matt crazy during the process. I’m sure anyone who hasn’t seen the show will think this is stupid, but fans might get a kick out of it, as I did. Watch the video after the jump.

  • hahaha that was great. I watched the 1st season in two days.

    also, tonight's episode was awesome!!
  • Gordon Freeman
That was great. The "go back" part was the best.
  • I'm like this guy, never seen an episode and never plan on doing so. I have seen glimpses, seen bits and have heard all about it... frankly I like being in the minority that don't give a sh*t about it.
  • then your not like this guy cuz he watched it before season 5started
  • Antonia
ha ha ha! exactly! you are not!

man you dont know what you are missing...
  • CaptainHowdyIsStupid
Well thats because you an idiot (to quote Seinfeld)
  • GORT
    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Tonights episode was amazing... Such a good show.
  • As a die hard fan of LOST, I found this pretty funny cause I recently introduced my roomate to the show and at least twice a day he asks me who the hell Henry Gale really is or if the button is real.

    "Dude, just keep watching"

If you're a fan of the show and you liked this, you'll like this too.

  • such a great show
  • I really enjoy this episode.
  • I watched season 1 of lost then a few into season 2...then i got lost and stopped watching it
  • Whiskey
I was done with that show after season 2. Horrible pretentious bullshit.

You're loss buddy (from someone who gave up on the show twice, only to come back and binge on episodes later). It's really not that pretentious - the show and the writers are fully self aware of how silly and ridiculous the story is IMO - yet they still allow you to gest invested in the characters and all the little dramas that unfold - simply because the characters and the actors and the setting is so compelling. Season 2 was the low point, but some of the best elements and best episodes happened after that, and the show got itself back on track very nicely. Even during it's worst moments I think it's one of the most entertaining things on TV - if you can manage not to take yourself so seriously that is.
  • Johnny Boy
best show ever... I only watch it on dvd so I can skip the commercials... the best and only way to watch good television shows
  • i dug this
  • I did this very thing starting in August... I barely made it for the premiere of season 5
  • This was ok, but some of the jokes could have been executed a little better.
But the jokes themselves were pretty nice.
I was just waiting for them to sit down to season 5 just to have the guy be like "wait, so what happened?" and be totally confused again.
Lost is the only show that can make people forget what's going on AS THEY'RE WATCHING IT.
But I still enjoy watching it. I considered stopping, but then I heard that they're wrapping it all up next season so I know that they aren't just throwing in more plot twists to keep the show going on longer. Besides, the producers said this season (and obviously the last one) will answer more questions than it will ask. And I need that sort of closure.

  • I like Lost, but it is better to watch it a season at a time. I hate waiting a week to see how a cliffhanger won't be resolved

  • I did practically the same thing to catch up to this season of Battlestar Galactica, somehow without any spoilers.
  • mikecrazy
The first two seasons were good but now it's just plain stupid!
  • starscream9289
I WANT MY DAMN KIDNEY BACK!
  • Jeff
Haha, I love the DriveShaft ringtone. And how the whiteboard in his meeting said "Hanso Inquisition" with a Dharma logo. Little things us Lost fanatics notice.
  • Prakash
F**K I did the same thing. Although not in 4 seasons in 3 days. I did seasons 2,3,4 in three days. I had to finish it before season 5 started. And I did it !
  • tmille30
