So for those of you who missed it, the huge transformer that Opimus Prime is seen hanging off from at the end of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Super Bowl teaser is in fact - just one Constructicon. And not the even more gigantic monster Devastator (which is made up of 5-9 constructicons). Another thing I noticed about the teaser is that 70% of the footage comes from what I would estimate is the first 20 minutes of the film. We know this — the opening battle sequence takes place at the Asian power planet. The Decepticon that is seen transforming on the run is speeding through a city with asian signs, as is the clip from the end of the teaser with Optimus hanging off of the constructicon. If you look closely at some of the screen captures I posted yesterday, you’ll notice that the highway signs on the bridge are also written in an Asian text.

So basically what I’m saying is that the Super Bowl teaser is only the beginning. It will get much bigger, and much more intense. If most of that action is from the first 20 minutes of the film, imagine what the rest of the movie will be like.

The Transformers fanatics at TFW2005 have finally figured out what the alt mode vehicle is for the constructicon seen in the Super Bowl teaser. It is a Terex O&K RH 400 Hydraulic Mining Excavator, which is apparently “the largest machine in the market world wide.” This 1.000 tonnes class unit is able to four pass load the ultra large mining truck of 400 tons payload.
