Entertainment Weekly has a new photo of Rorschach a grappling gun into the Comedian’s apartment from the opening of Watchmen.

They also have exclusive news that Zack Snyder is launching a website for his production company Cruel and Unusual Films at cruelfilms.com. You can see the production company logo to the right.

The site is just a generic overview with little to no dynamic content (Zack, why aren’t you doing a blog? C’mon, get with the times!), but its still pretty cool none the less.

If you shoot a grappling gun and miss, it must be very awkward...

    That's an awesome photo.

I still can't get over the final poster, but this looks awesome.
  • I'm just curious about Zach's other upcoming movies, like Sucker Punch and Colt 60. I mean, are they actually happening? I haven't too much about them.
  • Hmm nothing special about that picture...as good as the final poster....

"Entertainment Weekly has a new photo of Rorschach a grappling gun into the Comedian’s apartment from the opening of Watchmen." What??
  • Hm (using up all my wits just to resist saying "hurm") As others have said, the picture's nothing too special. But I still like it. Anything at all Watchmen to tide me over until March 6 is welcome. To me, though, it seems like one of two things is happening:

    a) The movie is going to be stolen by Rorschach, and it is going to focus on him the whole time, while having all the other main characters out of the spotlight, or...
    b) The marketing team thinks Rorschach will get people in seats. I'm inclined to think B, because having a BAMF is better than having a depressed bachelor, or a purple-clothed man (Adrian FTW), or a detached naked guy at the front and center of marketing. I just hope the movie divides the spotlight evenly between each of the main characters.

  • Who is behind the marketing of Watchmen... do they not what they are doing.
  • That's a nice image of Rorshach.
  • Every picture in this movie is sure to be cinematic gold.
  • Snyder's making some good marketing plays with this film but he should really update his site.
