Addictive TV’s Slumdog Millionaire Remix

It’s a slow news day, so I’m brining you whatever interesting content we can dig up.

Impressed by Addictive TV’s remix work for the major Hollywood studios, Slumdog Millionaire’s producers and director Danny Boyle asked the team to create an alternative web trailer for “Slumdog Millionaire”, by sampling sounds and images from the film and producing something entirely new made from only those audiovisual samples. Before the beat kicks in, the whole intro is purely AV, the music being made from only the looped images you see.

  • That is incredibly;y bad-ass
  • I really need to see that movie again. It's so amazing.
  • I re-watched the movie last night for the second time. It is still as excellent as the first.
  • Pretty rad video but doesn't persuade me otherwise to see the film. Still waiting for the DVD on this one.
  • Even if you wait for DVD, you will enjoy this film. It was really great. I was hesitant to view it, and kept putting it off. Finally I sucked it up and went to see it. As far as child actors go, this film and Son of Rambow are two of the best that I saw this year, with great child actors.
  • Very impressive video. I like that they ended it with the falling off the train scene; I love that transition.

Does anyone know if there are plans to make the green "Slumdog Millionaire" t-shirt (seen in the title of this video and the film itself) an item available to the public? I would love to own one of those...
  • I so totally agree.
  • this amazing video makes me want to see this film even more than i already do

loved the intro with only the movie sounds - always cool to watch totally unrelated sounds come together in a symphony of awesomeness
  • seanovan
    That was great. Very clever.

    Fantastic movie, also.
  • This is a great video but won't make me forget the awful credits sequence of the movie. Removed all integrity from the project *sigh*.
  • bret
Stevo, if something that rolls AFTER the credits bothers you that much....well lets just say thats a tad bit ridiculous.
Very cool video, wouldnt use it for advertising tho
  • An example of credits done with style - Michael Clayton. Slumdog's? It kind of shit on the whole struggle of the film. Imagine if the Dark Knight ended and then credits appeared with Heath Ledger, Christian Bale and a bunch of extras re-enacting the BAM, POW caption-action of the original Batman show to a comic extent with goofy music. I loved Slumdog Millionaire, but the credits are still a part of the film. And they were an awfully stupid end to a wonderful, compelling story.
  • Best movie of 2008 next to 'The Wrestler'...this little video makes me want see it again too...
  • Hmm still havent been convinced to go see this yet! And neither the wrester! Who wants to be a millionare and men in tights dosent jump out as a must see
  • Gripster2000
It's not about Who Wants to Be a Millionaire really. The gameshow is used as a device to thread all the storylines together. I suggest you see it. You will be suprised at how exciting/touching/funny this movie is.
  • Hmm still havent been convinced to go see this yet! And neither the wrester! Who wants to be a millionare and men in tights dosent jump out as a must see! The only reason i will see it is becase all the hype its had
  • Great film, havent seen one done quite like it before.. Oscar for sure
  • Awesome. That's what they should be using to market the film.
  • Samanth
Seriously...as soon as this film started I said to myself...I GOTTA have that tank top...Seriously, how do I get it???
  • Mia
