From Paris With Love Movie Trailer

I can’t remember the last live-action movie that John Travolta starred in that I actually enjoyed, or even wanted to see. His latest film, From Paris With Love is co-written and produced by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element), and directed by District B13 helmer Pierre Morel, tells the story of a young embassy worker and an American secret agent who cross paths while working on a high-risk mission in Paris. The movie co-stars Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

The talent involved gives the project promise, but the plot description sounds rather generic, and some of the shots in this promotional trailer are iffy, at best. I’m not saying this film looks cool, but for some reason I’m actually interested in checking this one out. Leave your thoughts in the comments below but keep in mind that the film is still in production and this is a promotional trailer with unfinished effects/sound/everything.   • Rhys-Meyers and John Travolta?!? Nice mix-match of actors there! I'll watch this under scrutiny, despite John Travolta seeming completely stale (he says "motherf*cker" which means he is such a cool guy!!!) and plot all over the place, I still have faith in Luc Besson to create a watchable and most importantly, enjoyable, action film.
  • Is John Travolta playing Mr. Clean's evil twin? He even says "I GOTTA CLEAN UP THIS SHIT!" (26 seconds in). I'd like to see another Travolta live action role worth seeing, but I just don't know if this is the film that will do it for me. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be okay at the least. I just hope he doesn't do a sequel to "Be Cool". Wait it did Elmore Leonard write a third in that series?

  • Aside from the action taken straight from the 'Transporter' movies, this looks utterly terrible. Did he really just say "I've got to clean this shit up"? Man, bring me a prequel to 'Broken Arrow' while you're at it.

When two very famous actors play in a movie nobody really cares about the script! on the one hand he have John Travolta that is a great actor and a very famous one and on the other hand we have Jonathan Rhys Meyers who is really really hot and has starred in several movies and the sho ''The Tudors'' which is very famous...
    I mean, who woulnd't have made the thought when he saw the actors playing in the movie :" Hey, this should be good!"
