Amazon has extended their Heroes and Battlestar Galactica sale until the end of the year.

You can buy the first two seasons of Heroes on DVD for $49.99, 50% off the $100 MSRP or you can buy the first two seasons on Blu-ray for $90.99, 46% off the $170 MSRP.

Amazon also has Seasons 1-3 of Battlestar Galactica plus the television movie Razor on DVD for only $121.99, 48% off the normal $235 msrp.

  • Mel Brooks and Hitchcock Collections stand out in that list for me, however I bought both in my homeland a while back and they were atleast double those prices at the time. Why is it whenever I come across a selection of films I like, I can not wait till they drop ever so slightly in price, but I must insist on buying them instantly? Damn you glorious Cinema!

    I got a killer deal on the Samsung BD-1500 blu ray player! Bought it for 201.99 plus 8 Warner Bros. movies and then got 200.00 off. The total for the movies and blu ray player was $150.00 or so. When I got the invoice for the blu ray it was 86.00 leaving the movies to cost me around 65.00. Purchased on Amazon! AWESOME! Finally I get to ditch that POS Toshiba!

    The code BLUWA100 is no longer working, although it was supposed to run through the end of the month.
  • It's almost time to spring for a Blu-Ray player. Once the discs even out in price just a little more. Mind you, I don't see the BluRay collection getting anywhere near as big as my current DVD collection before the NEXT format is unveiled.

    Hey Chris, I just used it about 15 minutes ago, and it worked. It's now on a Panasonic BluRay Player, though. Picked up the Player, Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Blood Diamond, Full Metal Jacket, Dark Knight, IronMan, Wall-E, Transformers, Terminator 2, and Rambo Box Set for around $350, upgrading Dad for christmas..........
