VOTD: SNL Digital Short - “J*** In My Pants”

This week’s Saturday Night Live Digital Short featured the first single from The Lonely Island guy’s (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone) debut album Incredibad, which will be in stores February 10th 2009. The video features guest appearances by Molly Sims, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Justin Timberlake. Our international friends can check out the clip on YouTube while it’s still available.     umm.. i don't think belushi would turn over in his grave. SNL has had many different era's and this is something fresh that is actually working for SNL.

    Personally, I am looking forward to the Lonely Island album and will definitely pick it up when it hits stores in February. I'm hoping it'll include other tracks from previous digital shorts like Space Olympics, Lazy Sunday and even Dick in a Box

  • I completely disagree with you. Yes, it has some down years, but it is finally getting back to being pretty funny. You can't expect it to be absolutely amazing every time you see it.

    good shows get the axe and snl gets 10 years of down time and it's still on the air.. come on.
  • That's because it has shown that it has longevity. The same goes with shows like The Simpsons. They have had some episodes, and even seasons, that didn't live up to the hype of previous ones, but people still continue to watch it because they have faith that they will keep producing funny episodes.

  • I haven't watched SNL in years, but since there was nothing on and I like John Malkovich I decided to watch...it actually was better than I expected and I laughed a little too! LoL This video was funny too.

  • That's some good SNL right there. It's unfortunate that the Digital Shorts aren't all funny like this one. It seems to be hit or miss with the trio, but I'll give the record a watch...
  • The Lonely Island is the best thing to happen to SNL in a long time, and it's nice to see Jorma get more than just a writing credit this time around. And was that Akiva as the DJ toward the end? Nice.
