I can see where people would come up with "this looks like transformers!!" but I doubt that giant terminator's going to be a huge part of the film. This thing looks better and better every time I see it, T2:JD is one of my favorite films of all time, and this is looking like a true successor. Fingers crossed.

Christian Bale alone should sell this movie. Look at his track record...the guy picks quality films. This HAS to be good!

Did I mention I'm excited about this movie?

All I hope is that he utters the line: "Come with me if you want to live"

Even with Bale as John Conor I don't feel any excitement. We have a gritty look and a few action shots I don't see how that is reason to feel like the movie will be good. Perhaps the trailer will shed some hope, but I'm very much on the fence. I wouldn't expect this movie to be any better than a Bay film and for McG that would be a compliment.

I saw the first one in the theatre and was absolutely blown away by it. This looks like it will give the original a run for it's money.

The first two Terminators where good because they were just awesome action flicks (<--See Die Hard 1 and 3 as well). And this looks like it will follow in those footsteps quite nicely. I need Terminator movies to be somewhat serious and have passable acting...But mostly I want a decent story and some hot robot on human action.

I wasn't thinking Transformers at all till someone said something about it...Shrug. I doubt it will effect my viewing of it...Especially the first time that gun actually catches someone on the chin. Oh wait...these are PG-13. <--- The one big drawback for me.

I have to agree. The last shot with the huge Terminator looks amazing!

Why is everyone so excited about this? It just looks like another Michael Bay film, like Transformers. There is nothing here that says "this will be mind blowing." We've seen giant robots before. We've seen gritty post-apocalyptic futures before. This will be just another big-budget, action, special effects, predictable, mediocre film. And, although I have faith in Bale, I have no faith in McG. I'm still waiting for the "wow."

I might tune in, or wait for it to hit the nets. I hope McG does the franchise justice as I'm looking forward to this one.

Bale by himself is not yet a big draw. Most people I talk to still don't know who he is until I say "He's the current Batman". Yes, his resume is full of great movies, but how many of them are actually POPULAR in the mainstream? Only a handful.

Why is that giant robot having a kickback effect? The thing must weight 100 tons, firing a weapon shouldn't even phase it!

meh. any clown can make a summer blockbuster. throw in terminators and christian bale and of course it will be watchable. MAYBE a 4 on netflix at best. its better then the shit superhero movies if they cant at least come up with something original, but with mcg, i cant see this actually being a 'good' movie. and it looks like all the action is greenscreened. im sick of that shit.
