Black Friday Geek Deals

With Black Friday on the Horizon, I might be posting more Geek deals over the coming weekend than I would normally post in a month. But I’m a bargain hunter, and I know that not many of you catch a lot of these type of deals on a normal basis. Keep refreshing /Film for the latest deals throughout the weekend!

  • I think $10 is still too much for this bargain bin movie.
  • Anthony
I just literally bought it from Amazon... then came here and saw it was front page news!

Transformers rules and will always rule.

Too bad for Matty up there.
  • I can never and WILL never back a movie that attempts to be aimed at an older croud, yet has robots peeing...and a robot who thinks he's a black stereotype!
  • I can never and WILL never back a movie that attempts to be aimed at an older crowd, yet has robots peeing...and a robot who thinks he's a black stereotype!
  • Maybe seeing it on my 52" in BluRay will help but I can't say I enjoyed it all that much in theaters.
  • Has this turned into the shopping network???
  • Damn $10 for a BluRay god i hate living in UK...
  • wtfamazon
I bought this movie 3 weeks ago for $20 when I bought my $28 Kill Bill set from Amazon. They have a return policy of 30 days. I called in today to get my price adjusted down to the new price. They told me no, that I would need to buy a new copy for the $10 price, then return one of the movies to them. WTF? They'd rather pay to ship another movie to me, and also pay for me to ship the movie back to them (plus the return of a boxed set that I'm now returning to them because of this) instead of just adjusting the price of an unopened item that is within their return policy?
  • Geek deals are awesome! I would have missed this if he hadn't posted it. Thanks Peter!
  • Rob Martinez
That West Wing deal is ridiculous!
  • mat
i hate transformers, but i cant stop contemplating a $10 deal.
    damn you amazon
  • Joshua Truman
Wow. I just bought West Wing at Best Buy for 118... This sucks. I was so excited about that too.
  • OMG! OMG! OMG! Under Siege 2: Dark Territory? I'M THERE! hahaha
  • My fiancee just blew $200 after I sent her the link. lol
  • The film is aimed at an older audience, but wants to expand this with jokes for children.
Pixar does this, but with more intelligent humor.
  • A Girl Fan
So ordered Mad Men season 1 on Blu_Ray for... $16!!!!!! I just about peed my pants when I saw the price!!!
  • Bureaucratic Bullshit is what it is in spades. With big business we've lost common sense. I work in a big chain store here in the UK and I've had to turn people away if they are a few pennies short despite the fact that I know we take in thousands a day. It pisses me off that paperwork fucks everything up.
  • I enjoyed it very much !
Style your statement and create a musical blog on at www.uploaded.tv with your short portfolio.
  • THE SEARCHERS on BD was available for 10.99 too!

I ordered REDS (2-disc BD) for 9.99! Amazing.
  • Gotta say the best looking item here (literally) is that Harry Potter chest. I'm not a fan of the films, but I love the appeal original box sets like that have.
  • Tony
There are 7 series of the shield ;)
  • I had been meaning to check out Mad Men for a while, and I can't pass it up for 16.99 on blu-ray. Even if I can't get into it, at the very least I will be able to look at Christina Hendricks in all her HD glory.
  • Is that seriously Night Watch on Blu Ray??!! Damn, I need to get me a PS3. :(
  • I went to town at Best Buy on Black Friday. Now I need a bigger shelf to store all my DVDs in. Damn you $4.99 sales for making me buy a new $200 shelf!!!
