I really feel sorry for the kids who have to put with all this garbage "entertainment"...from the horrible cartoons, the disney channel to these awful movies that are only made to rip-off parents.....where is the Henson Company when you need it??

as horrible as that looks, i must admit that kid kind of got the spirit of the character. at least he has a good screen presence. but i would only still watch this movie only if you paid me the price of the dvd.

I can't even press play, it looks too horrible. Ace Ventura was bad enough as it was. Maybe some blind grandmothers will think it looks cute for their little grandchildren at the movie store.

When will they learn that it was a marical that Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber and Mask worked(some might argue that they never worked) and trying to recreated something that really should have never worked in the first place will never be successful. What Hollywood exec thinks to himself "Well they did a Mask sequel without Jim Carry and it failed, they made a Dumb and Dumber sequel without Jim Carry and it failed so lets an Ace Ventura sequel without Jim Carry is bound to make money!"

Back when originals came out, everyone was doing Ace impressions, from cubicles, to every play ground. nothing special in doing the "Alrighty then!"

Carey in his prime was fairly funny. Carey now......... is creepy, not in a good way.

Kids imitating Carey in his prime and expecting money & fame for it.............downright stupid.

haha i agree. Kids are annoying anyway. Just like the teen versions of Dumb and Dumber in Dumb and Dumberer. Teens are annoying as well, so the prequel was just awful.

Wow, it's amazing that they managed to get this out at the height of Ace Ventura's popularity.

Ugh, I was going to skip the pain of watching this till my friend begged me to share in the crappiness with him....good thing he's in out of town visiting family or I might have caused physical harm. Man, this movie is shameful. Parents who allow their children to watch this stuff should be accused of purposely killing their child's brain cells.

This is the saddest news I've gotten all week. They are trying to destroy my childhood, one Jim Carrey movie at a time.

The only thing worse than a bad Jim Carry impression is a child actor doing a bad Jim Carry impression.

This looks like crap, but it's not like we'll be seeing a million previews in theaters or TV, it's only a Direct-to-Disc flick, it'll blow over in a day or two.
