A new international trailer has been released for David Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which I don’t believe I’ve ever seen before. Check it out below, or click on through to Bad Taste for the High Definition sized version. Is it just me or does every new trailer just get better and better? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button hits theaters on December 25th 2008.

It looks like a very interesting movie and I do want to see it. I don't understand why some ppl aren't enjoying it.

Indeed, much better trailer. I'm actually quite excited to see this film, mostly for the cinematography and makeup effects.

Wow, that trailer was very Forrest Gump-esque with the score. I think that's the trailer that will get the masses to see it. This reaffirms the Oscar potential for this film.
  • I hate to say this, but the more footage I see of this movie the less interesting it seems to be.

I'm going to go ahead and say that I think Fincher hit his peak at Zodiac. I dont think he will ever achieve a higher artistic work.

    Great Trailer.
  • I'm compelled to see this movie just because it's such an odd story, i have to see how it plays out.
  • has anyone heard about pitt in this? he looks like his acting is outstanding but has anyone heard if he has oscar potential for this? just curious looks great
  • I will probably go see this movie, just because of its interesting plot line. The trailers all look good and the posters are really cool as well.

Based solely on a technical standpoint, this movie should be amazing. However, Fincher has earned my trust in what ever he does.

The trailer is like much of Fitzgerald's writiings. Beautiful, romantic, melancholy and brief. Much like Fitzgerald's great flaw -- the question remains whether it can be sustained over the course of the work.

Finally, they've made a film for the millions of people who were too embarrassed to admit they liked Forrest Gump. At long last, we can come out and proclaim our love for a story about the unusual southern boy and his life long obsession with the girl next door. God bless David Fincher! I no longer have to live in shame!
  • That's actually pretty good. I think it has the potential to better than Forrest Gump.
  • Matt
So you're basically saying he hit his peak with his last released film. How do you even know Benjamin Button won't be as good a film or better, even on an artistic standpoint? The trailer doesn't reveal the entire movie bro..
  • If it were legal Id marry this film.

I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of Zodiac. I though Se7en and Fight Club were works of art, but Zodiac never really gave me that same feeling. I'm hoping this gives me that rush again.
  • I believe this is going to be worth seeing regardless. Perhaps what we're really discussing/debating here is if the film has 'classic' potential - which remains to be seen. It will definitely be worth the watch, just like Zodiac. It wasn't an instant classic but you had to go see it, and it was well worth it.
  • SO EXCITED
  • upon the third viewing, i stand by my statement
  • i heard he was nominated for this but i may have been mistaken
  • Amazing trailer, I can tell already it's going to be a pretty emotional experience. Can't wait to see it.

I love this film already and I haven't even seen it yet.
  • What I was trying to say was that Zodiac felt like a culmination of everything Fincher had been trying to achieve his whole career. Benjamin Button looks like fuckin Forrest Gump!
  • I am there opening night.

It's a very cynical film, get through all the mush and it's got "formula" written all over it. "Let's do Forest Gump again but with Brad Pitt and New Orleans!"
