Noah Baumback’s SNL Digital Short

Noah Baumback, director of Kicking and Screaming and The Squid and the Whale, helmed an SNL Digital Short, which aired over the weekend. “Clearing The Air” stars Paul Rudd, Bill Hader and Fred Armisen. Unfortunately, NBC didn’t decide the short worthy of online upload, so we’re stuck with this bad video taped YouTube copy.

    That wasn't the Digital Short of the week. The Digital Short was Andy Samberg drawing Paul Rudd nude, and then Rudd drawing Samburg, pantsless. They then proceeded to try to sell it, though everyone sort of killed themselves.

    I thought the short was funny. It wasn't incredible, but it was fun and it's cool knowing someone like that just worked with SNL out of nowhere. It's kinda cool.

    I wish Tina would come back to be head writer. The show wasn't even good then, but it was a hell of a lot better than it is now.

    You're thinking of the 2005 Will Ferell film. Noah Baumbach's Kicking and Screaming is the 1995 Josh Hamilton movie with Parker Posey.

    its sad what SNL has come to, the show is VERY limited on its comedy and they dont even realize it. SNL sucks and so does kristin wiig
  • The best part of SNL for the past year or two have been the Digital Shorts and Kristen Wiig!!

  • It was....OK. At best. I hereby announce that Tina Fey should be in every SNL short or skit whether she's still part of the cast or not.
