Another Kick Ass Watchmen Poster

Yahoo Movies has premiered a new movie poster for Zack Snyder’s Watchmen. Pretty cool, I must admit, but I’m still in love with the previous poster which shows The Comedian falling through the air to the New York City streets.

There both awesome posters, boy the marketing is doing a great job with getting fans and non-fans excited. I just hope WATCHMEN isn't under 2 hours and 40 minutes because then I don't think it would still really be WATCHMEN.

Nothing beats the Comic Con 07 Poster.
  • Captain Awesome
    Very awesome.

Is it March yet? This is torture! Now I really want a Watchmen poster
  • meh
Nothing interesting or unique about it imo. First was good.
  • MrMad2001
This and the previous one, are OK, but seem to be missing something.
  • syms
    Spirit, much?
  • Tucker
    Fantastic.
  • Larry
Dark horizons has confirmed the changed ending.....

    Suspending disbelief as of now.

Not so sure what to think. Hopefully he doesn't nuke a fridge with bluesplosions galore.
  • Gordon
That "something" that's missing on this poster, MrMad2001, is a period (after "this city is afraid of me"). :)
  • Confirmed what Larry said.
    ...
    *facepalm*
Doesn't sound like Snyder understands that taking out something that huge doesn't equate to taking liberties with trivial things that fanboys may argue over but don't matter in the quality overall. If he has something better, maybe, but there's nothing wrong with how it was. The script before he was signed didn't even have the ending? >__>

  • awesome nerd boner is as strong as ever
  • The only way I could be impressed by that poster is if you told me some one with cerebral palsy painted it with their foot.
  • Quan
It's a nice poster, but kinda reminds me of Babylon A.D., and we all know how that one turned out... I'm excited for this movie, sure, but let's not get so hyped up for it so early.
  • jordan
its a little too similar to that dark knight poster of the joker standing in the middle of the street with his back towards us.....same color palette and everything.
  • Joe
That "missing" period, I am almost certain, is not in fact missing, but an excerpt from Rorschach's journal.
  • I want to put my Penis in this Poster's Beautiful Vagina.
  • Kevin
Looks almost identical to the oldboy poster, pretty cool though
  • andy
sweet! i really wanna see it
  • Patrick O'Riley
All the trailers for this look like garbage so far and the posters are nothing special. I'm sure at least the people who read it will see it.
  • LOL.. what the hell !!!!
It looks so similar to one of my shots on Iceshed (sorry, don't want to brag... really) and I have not read Watchmen yet!!!
  • The Gajonka
BE CAREFUL. YOU ARE OVERHYPING THIS FILM AND POSSIBLY SETTING UP A DISASTROUS WAKE OF DISAPPOINTMENT.
  • charles
    can't wait

    i love the poster.

i just think it looks a little awkward with Rorschach standing in the middle of the street.

to me it seems like he should've been standing in an alley with a body lying there, like the comic-con/original comic ad-campaign, or standing on a rooftop holding the button or holding something, like holding someone by their collar and they're just hanging there.
  • Jed
Did they leave the period off the end of the first sentence for a reason?
  • Patrick
    *Faps Furiously*

    New Background for sure.

God, everything about this movie is boner-inducing.
  • feed me a stray cat
not as good as the first poster. doesn't look like rorschach to me for some reason... like it doesn't look like he's wearing the right kind of hat.
  • noeway1122
    god thats fucking cool.
