The only thing on that list that I can agree with is Juno, although Superbad would’ve been a better choice.

  2. Gravatar

breakout male is drake bell, that is just unstop laughs right there…. Superhero movie… lmao.

  3. Gravatar

are you sure this isnt the razzies?

  4. Gravatar

STEP UP 2 THE STREETS made NEVER BACK DOWN look like BRING IT ON 3.

    I mean, seriously.

  5. Gravatar

This is why I weep for the future.

  6. Gravatar

I think that list hammers the last nail in the coffin that holds any ounce of credibility this ridiculous show ever had.

  7. Gravatar

    Yikes….that is….depressing. Such a wonderful thought that this is the….future generation….

  8. Gravatar

This is why everyone hates kids.

  9. Gravatar

It’s sad that young people growing up watch this type of show and these movies, while believing that they actually deserve these awards.

  10. Gravatar

I’ve got to agree. This is just so damn sad.

Also, anyone winning an award for acting in Jumper must have bartered with the devil. The catch was that the award is just a Teen Choice award, and doesn’t count worth dirt.

  11. Gravatar

    Jessica alba best actress? OMG!!!!!!!

  12. Gravatar

    HA! I say again: HA!

What happened to Cam Gigandet’s nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Never Back Down?

  13. Gravatar

Get Smart as Summer Movie Comedy?

Get Smart came out on June 20th, which was not during the summer. They are not only promoting poor taste/corporate shilling, but seasonal negligence as well.

Secondly, how could Hancock and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian both win “Action Adventure”?

Superhero Movie? Stop-Loss? Jumper? A lot of underwhelming box office performers winning a popularity contest.

  14. Gravatar

I fear for the future of the film industry in the next decade or two.

  15. Gravatar

This is the kind of thing that makes me ashamed to be a teenager and makes me weep for my generation. This could almost read like the Razzie awards if you took away Juno, Keira Knightley, and Chronicles of Narnia.

    Drake Bell? Really?

  16. Gravatar

Holy crap, that list is embarassing.
On behalf of my generation, I offer my sincerest apologies.
We will all now go commit hara-kiri.

  17. Gravatar

“Actor - Drama: Channing Tatum, Stop-Loss”. No, just no…

  18. Gravatar

    Yes, Problem?

  19. Gravatar

Don’t think that the teens like this stuff.
    I’m 16 and, I’m ashamed ):

  20. Gravatar

    Disgusting !
“teen choice” — heh, enough said (i am “teen”).
to repeat some wise words, “i hate people my age”

  21. Gravatar

Haha wow, I’m 15 and agree with none of those winners. Probably 12 year old’s that voted. I don’t see any teens my age voting for this

  22. Gravatar

Wait a second. How did the TEEN choice awards even know about “What Happens in Vegas” (an R-rated film about 2 people meeting in Sin City, getting hitched and spending a night of drunken sex before before being forced to stay together for money)? Did their parents take them to see it?

This is what’s wrong in America. Kids just saw “Ashton Kutcher” and clicked YES! Bring on 2012!

  23. Gravatar

Fuck these things. The mind-numbingly pointless categories are so painful.

  24. Gravatar

wow. these kids have a lot to learn about films

  25. Gravatar

Tatum won best actor?? That means there’s hope for G.I. Joe!! :D

  26. Gravatar

I don’t know what anyone was expecting; these are the same kids who think Soulja Boy, Rhianna, Chris Brown and Fall Out Boy are musical geniuses.

  27. Gravatar

The MySpace generation has an awards show, and you’re surprised by the results?

    Damn.

  28. Gravatar

    Cam Gigandet was robbed!

  29. Gravatar

    @ Peruvianidol

    D. Chen is gonna be heartbroken!

  30. Gravatar

Spoilers: What Happens In Vegas was PG-13

  31. Gravatar

I am seriously embarrassed to be in the same age group as these people.

Also, if these guys won; Imagine who lost!!! They must have been absolute garbage.

  32. Gravatar

What in the world does “bromantic” mean?

  33. Gravatar

I’m not really fearing for the future of film, if only because I’m holding out (possibly misguided) hope that everyone will mature before entering the industry.

  34. Gravatar

    I’m sorry but…

    “Alex:

Get Smart as Summer Movie Comedy?

Get Smart came out on June 20th, which was not during the summer. They are not only promoting poor taste/corporate shilling, but seasonal negligence as well.”

June isn’t summer? Since when? In Australia?

  35. Gravatar

You guys are lucky, I had to work on this crapfest. The entire show was a big Step Up 2 meets/High School musical shitfest hosted by two of the most annoying teen-age disney skanks availible.

These awards are meaningless. Shit the award is a 5ft surfboard.

Shit like this is why I drink at night. Lol

  36. Gravatar

Breakout Male: Drake Bell, Superhero Movie

    Ha. aha. ha.

  37. Gravatar

    ONLY IN A AMERIKKA

  38. Gravatar

The Dark Knight isn’t even on that list…

For me being a 13 year old, it sucks to watch my generation be brainwashed by really bad films. I can’t even believe I actually saw Step Up 2…IN THEATERS. Thanks a lot to my friends.

  39. Gravatar

This makes the MTV movie awards look like the Golden Globes. At least the MTV awards are fun to watch. So Hancock gets nominations and Iron Man doesn’t? WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  40. Gravatar

I think a bromantic comedy is what they use to call a buddy flick which if thats the case whats happens in vegas was not even that.

  41. Gravatar

Well, it is the “Teen” Choice Awards :-D

Actually I love the movie, but that would be because I’m a huge fan of the genre (dance movies). ‘Footloose’ is my favourite movie ever! Now there’s one that could deserve a reward for ‘drama’.

Likely the best dramas are MA-17 anyway.

  42. Gravatar

    Future leaders of America!

  43. Gravatar

step up 2 the streets is a good simple minded film, its about as dramatic as fucking eastenders lol.
