The Family Guy Star Wars parody Blue Harvest was a huge hit. You might have heard that they’re almost finished production on a follow-up which takes on The Empire Strikes Back. Seth MacFarlane revealed at a Television Critics Association panel that he would like to take on Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan “if Paramount would let us”. He doubts they would give permission but admits that if the Empire parody does well, “they might be willing.” How cool would a Wrath of Khan parody? C’mon Trekkies, lets make this happen!

Live long and prosper Family Guy. Live long and prosper.

I hope it’ll be a success, but who knows.

I found the Robot Chicken parody to be much funnier than Blue Harvest.

Look like Bones and Scotty are holding Kirk so that Ensign can give him head.

I second that Robotchicken’s was funnier. Family guy isn’t funny.

If any given Family Guy episode is bad you can blame it on the manatees. They didn’t pick the right thought bubbles.

I love Family Guy, I really don’t care what anyone says. I did like the Robot Chicken parody better, but Blue Harvest is still awesome.
I can’t wait for Empire Strikes Back and Wrath of Khan episodes!
Two of my favorite things, FG and SW/ST, mixed into one!

The Robot Chicken parody was hilarious. Blue Harvest was a slow motion train wreck.
I let go of my pride and distaste for Family Guy, and finally watched Blue Harvest upon several recommendations from my friends. I wish I hadn’t. There was not a single moment in that special that I found funny.

Uhhh, “if paramount would let us…”. He doesn’t need permission to do a parody of anything. It’s protected speech according to the supreme court.

He’s does need permission if wishes to use intellectual property of Star Trek/Paramount. Like he had with Lucas. The music and effects were not parody. They were the actual dupes. Thanks to Lucas’ personal love for the show.
