Our contributing photo scooper Christopher M has found a new batch of stills from Anh Hung Tran’s I Come With The Rain. The film stars Josh Hartnett as an ex-Los Angeles cop turned private eye who travels to Hong Kong in search of the missing son of a chinese billionaire. We have also included the a five minute promo reel for the film after the jump.

Ummmm, that is a freaky film. I think I will pass on that one. Looks gorgeous though.

What a strange little promo… I think it would come off better if they had a Western cut of it. Still, one to watch I think.

That title is almost as bad as Midnight Meat Train.

I like Josh Hartnett but his career is pretty much on the brink of being over.

I dunno, crazily I think this movie might be good. I was all set to hate ‘Lucky Number Slevin’ and it was Hartnett that made it watchable.

Dude that looks bitchin’

I think the promo reel was poorly edited…but I have a feeling the movie might actually turn out pretty good.
Let’s wait for an official trailer.

Okay, well, first things first, aside from the freakiness it feels kind of Night Moves. The music is good but I guess we can thank Capitol for that. Feels cool. I like it, I think it might be pretty good.

Tran is one of my favorite directors ever! I’m so excited to see his English language debut. If you haven’t seen it, go rent Cyclo and you’ll see why I’m so excited

Anh Hung Tran is an excellent director. No matter what you think of the trailer you’d do well to see this film. “The Scent Of Green Papaya” and “Vertical Ray Of The Sun”, two of his best efforts are excellent. I am eagerly awaiting the release of “I Come With The Rain”.
