Absolutely fucking classic.
May 20th, 2008 at 5:40 am
I agree with A.J.
May 20th, 2008 at 5:43 am
Not too shabby :)
And it’s the gorgeous girl from “In Treatment”!
May 20th, 2008 at 6:02 am
Seriously great. Thanks for sharing, Peter!
May 20th, 2008 at 6:10 am
2 thumbs up, a great zombie movie to start of my morning.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:05 am
This was amazing! Loved it!
May 20th, 2008 at 7:25 am
Amazing, just wish it lasted longer.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:32 am
It was like Gummo and 28 Days Later got buzy and had a little bastard child. I thought it was great. Feature length pleaz.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:43 am
great!
May 20th, 2008 at 7:44 am
That was perfect. Really good job.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:44 am
Things I liked:
-Good effects on the zombie
-Hot badass chick
-Asshole got what he deserved
-”That’s ok, I get sad sometimes too when I think about fish.”
I would watch a feature length version for sure.
May 20th, 2008 at 8:07 am
I want more. How short is this short? I pray that wasn’t the whole thing.
I want MORE!
May 20th, 2008 at 8:23 am
Looks like this was shot in New Zealand..hope they expand it into a full feature
May 20th, 2008 at 8:36 am
brilliant
May 20th, 2008 at 8:38 am
That was pretty cool.
May 20th, 2008 at 9:05 am
great stuff.
very inspiring to the low budget film maker.
May 20th, 2008 at 9:27 am
It felt a little slow at first, but I think it is because I was
expecting your usual zombie fanfare. I love the emotion of
this short.
May 20th, 2008 at 10:11 am
@ Christopher Marc, it was shot in Australia, not New Zealand.
THIS is the kind of filmmaking that might pull the Aussie film industry back on its feet. More, more please!
May 20th, 2008 at 10:30 am
Its like a sequel to Gummo…but instead of killing cats they kill zombies.
Fucking Awesome!++
Thanks for posting the Peter.
May 20th, 2008 at 10:38 am
An instant classic indeed!
May 20th, 2008 at 10:48 am
That was great. the smile at the end was hilarious.
May 20th, 2008 at 11:27 am
Wow…No doubt a wonderful little feature. Sweet and Zombie film usually go together like Pralines and Dick. It’s also exactly what kids would do after a zombie apocalypse. Ya know, the ones not rocking in the corner from shock.
May 20th, 2008 at 11:35 am
I get the feeling I’m about to email everyone I know this film.
May 20th, 2008 at 11:49 am
Peter, can you release a higher quality version of this? Maybe twice the size?
May 20th, 2008 at 12:05 pm
Would watch a full length for sure. Enjoyed it for what is is though.
May 20th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
unfortunately, that’s the highest quality copy we have or can find online :/
May 20th, 2008 at 1:02 pm
This is fantastic, 5/5, 10/10, two thumbs up.
May 20th, 2008 at 1:36 pm
i wonder if peter jackson has seen this. if so, the filmakers just hit gold - and they absolutely deserve it.
May 20th, 2008 at 1:39 pm
ahh austraila, not the kiwi’s…well PJ would still love it.
May 20th, 2008 at 1:52 pm
Nice one.
May 20th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
What Albert Brodsky said (I was thinking the same thing while watching it).
May 20th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
This was unbelievable and unexpected. Everything about this movie was excellent. I loved it. Simply awesome. 10 stars.
May 20th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
These are the kinds of things you look out for and are happy to find :) Thanks for posting this. I would also like to see the full feature if available. Loved that last line, “Are you out of your fucking misery, yet?” Hahhaha. Totally cracked me up.
May 20th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
Creepy, Sad, Funny, Sweet… ALL at the same time.
May 20th, 2008 at 5:22 pm
Pretty fun little flick, not sure it would work in a longer format though…,
May 20th, 2008 at 8:03 pm

iTunes has it at a much higher resolution. Looks like 800×300 or something.
I think it’s 2 bucks.
May 20th, 2008 at 10:02 pm
As an amature film-maker who makes short films….I’m blown away! That was great! It was a pseudo-horror film, and…..I….I’m speechless, I can’t describe how great it was! It made me care about the characters who I only knew for 9 and a half minuets…Awesome! Props to Spencer!

That was pretty good, even though the english was very local and a bit hard to follow… Was this the whole thing? I would’ve like to see the credits for this short, because without credits, I feel like I haven’t seen the whole thing… ‘Cuz right now, it looks like a one-scene cut of an actual full-length film.

@syms. I saw the trailer for the square on twichfilm a few months back, and after watching this I really can’t wait for that movie to come out
