We’ve written extensively about Mighty Muggs in past editions of Cool Stuff (Star Wars Waves 1 & 2, Indiana Jones, Waves 3 & 4 of Star Wars and even a couple Comic Con exclusives). Hasbro’s line of figures trying to capitalize on the Urban vinyl collectible figure craze have gotten popular, and we haven’t had a chance to catch up. So here is our chance to cover all the figures we missed.
Hasbro has announced Wave #5 which focuses on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated movie and upcoming television series. Characters will include: Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, Captain Rex, and Clone Wars Anakin. Click the above photo to enlarge. Marvel Comics has also launched a bunch of series of Mighty Muggs that we never got the chance to show you. Wave 1 included: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, and Venom.
Wave 2 includes Thing, Hulk, Dr. Doom and Captain America.
Wave 3 includes Ghost Rider, Doc Ock, Thor, snd Spider-Man (Black).
And the best one of the batch is a Comic-Con Exclusive of Movie Suit Iron Man.
And remember, Mighty Muggs are made from “100% Recycled Awesome”.

The Hulk one looks exactly like the model in the new film.

That’s a good point you made…
It’s funny to see these huge toy companies ripping-off smaller companies like Kid Robot. Can never let a good money making idea pass under your nose I guess.
Even if it’s a blatant snatch. I await the X-Men hip hop babies toy lines.

@ Peter
Is it possible to order a single character and not the entire wave? On the site I can only find the entire combo, not a broke down set.

It’s on like Comic-Con. I’m definitely getting the Iron Man one when I hit the SD Comic-Con. My son will flip his sh!t. He has the Boba Mighty Mug and has been begging me for the Grievous.
I’m sending Captain Awesome the George Lopez Mighty Mug Hulk.
