not sure i understand why they are using up money for a well known actor just for a cameo..........any ideas?

Just when I thought that G.I. Joe might be a good, action flick with a more serious tone they throw frickin' Brendan Fraser in it. Now I have no choice but to avoid this flick like the plague. Can someone please freeze this guy back up and bury him in Encino?

gung ho is one character that i wouldn't mind receiving a makeover for this film. he does appear to be, in the navy.........

This could be the worst news thus far about this project. I hope he isn't in the film long if at all, he is a horrid one genre actor like Keanu Reeves. Bad taste left in my mouth after this news.

I LOVE Brendan Fraser! I'll watch anything with him in it :0) I don't care if the movie sucks and if he's in it for like minute it will be worth my $$$$$

Sheesh, like Fraser could hurt this movie more than it already will be from the get go. The biggest problem is that in their effort to appeal to the 'masses' they've specifically made the project international. I don't take issue with the uniforms, just the fact that they are explicitly assembled from international origins. They could have simply had all the same actors, accents and all.. from an elite American force. After all, American is internationally comprised to a degree anyway. This is a new level in pandering, and sadly, I think the youth of the popcorn "The Hills"-grade actors will seriously affect the clout with die-hards like myself. Simply tragic.
