As you probably know, Warner Bros has ramped up the viral campaign for The Dark Knight and have sent Dentmobles around the country. Supposedly an “independent grassroots movement of Gotham City citizens are traveling around to garner support for Gotham City’s Harvey Dent potential decision to run for District Attorney. Old news, I know… Here is the interesting part:
Three men dressed wearing filthy clown masks and holding cardboard signs protested the Dentmobile stop in Ann Arbor, MI. The signs read “Dent is Two-Faced”, “Your Future Decided With a Coin Flip” and “Change We Can’t Believe In”. I’m not too sure these guys were part of Warner’s viral efforts, but I thought it was funny enough to post.

That “Your Future Decided With A Coin Flip” sign is great.
I do believe this film has one of the best campaigns ever created. Do any of you know if Nolan had a hand with it’s design? Because this campaign sure does look and feel Nolan-esque. The wait for this film killing me!

i think its just fans getting creative….but adds a new step to the marketing…wish we all thought of that before the dent mobile was ending its run….cant wait any longer for this film….Nolan screened his first 2 and a half hour cut to the warners execs last week and everyone…including the hard nosed assholes said it was a unbelievable film…so initially the dent thing said he was going to make his decision on march 26th..so i thought….so were 2 days away from something changing in the marketing..or the big pay off for all this harvey dent bs….so hopefully we finally get a new trailer or a two face picture or maybe a clip of eckharts performance with the cgi finished…okay…im going to wet myself if we get any sort of two face pay off for all this campaign stuff….what do u guys think…trailer,picture or clip?

Whewwww..what a campaign. the signage “Your Future Decided With A Coin Flip” really have a deep meaning, especially those with the Iraq situation where everyday people and soldier died such a game of flipping coin.
